1979 CORVETTE ORIGINAL PAINT SURVIVOR WITH 58,000 ORIGINAL MILes Up for auction is an original 1979 Black corvette that has been Very well cared for and stored properly over the years. This is an original paint, no hit body with no rust on the frame. The car runs and drives fantastic. It was driven from Detroit to Boston this past summer with no problems at all. The air condition was serviced and works great. The tires are in excellent condition. The deluxe interior, as you can see from the pictures is in excellent original condition. The original paint is driver quality because the laquer paint used back then was prone to checking over the years. Like all old vettes that are original, you can see impressions of the bonding strips on the fenders and quarters. The car is being sold AS IS with no warranty.
