Vehicle Detail
240z turbo, over $20K invested in the drivetrain. 11535 miles since the build. New Nissan turbo shortblock with metal head gasket, T3/T4 turbo with custom mandrel-bent downpipe and open 3" exhaust, large Apexi Silvia core intercooler, Schneider turbo camshaft, 60mm throttle body, RC Engineering 550cc injectors mated to custom fuel rail, SDS fully programmable fuel and spark control (replaces stock ECU), aftermarket oil cooler, relocated dual oil filters, Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, 5-speed Borg Warner T5 tranny with short-throw shifter, Centerforce clutch, 3.54 R200 differential with CV half-shaft conversion, polished 280zx turbo wheels with drag radials on the rear tires, custom fuel cell with high-flow fuel pump and aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable struts on all 4 corners with performance springs and large front swaybar. All stock bushings have been replaced with urethane and most suspension components have been powder coated in black. Carpet is good, no rips in seats, full dash cap, Autometer gauges, wiring has been cleaned up and fuse box relocated to under the dash on passenger side. Body is clean and rust-free with new paint. I did the paint myself so it is not show quality but looks good from 10-feet. Alpine CD player with Rockford Fosgate amp running to component speakers in front and 6x9's in the back. Optima battery relocated to behind the passenger seat. Brakes were completely rebuilt front and rear with new hydraulics and larger 4 piston calipers up front. I did not do the build myself. The previous owner did most of the suspension work and re-wiring. He is a navy helicopter mechanic (hence the aircraft switches) and the owner before him built the engine. I have a book of receipts and a dyno sheet stating 315 hp and 338 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels. The ECU has been tuned since the dyno run so it is actually making more power currently. This car runs great and is frighteningly fast. There are no leaks and everything works. I would not recommend it as a daily driver but as a weekend warrior it is a truly unique and amazing experience to own. I am moving out of state or i would love to keep this car. I'm sure i will regret selling it... Please check my feedback and feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking! On Jan-25-11 at 00:07:56 PST, seller added the following information: Please see my flickr page for additional and higher-resolution photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/marcusmgraf/sets/72157625893316124/show/ Also, I tested the compression last night and it was exactly 140 on every cylinder. Amazingly consistent but not too surprising since it is a factory Nissan shortblock with only 11.5k miles. New NGK ZFR6F-11 plugs as well and i forgot to mention that the boost is controlled by an electronic boost controller mounted in the dash right below the turbo timer. I had a scammer use buy it now and hijack my other auction so i heightened the bidder requirements here too. If you are new to ebay or have little to no feedback and want to legitimately bid, please let me know. No cashier's checks.
