I am listing this for a friend named Wayne, he paid cash for this 1970 Buick Sklylark back on 2/27/70 in Stockton, California and has been the only owner. We also have the original California small pink slip that verifies this, also all records and receipts dating back to almost new, including owner's manuel and protecto plate. This car was always maintained and respected since new. All oil changes done on time any maintenance was taken care of right away, no expense spared. On 9/25/01 Wayne took the Skylark to Moffet Automotive, Stockton Califonia and spent $4,479.79 to rebuild the motor and replace all accessories, invoice is attached, (see picture). The car had 136,250 miles, it now reads 154,574, the car now has 18,324 miles on the rebuilt motor. As for the body Wayne decided it was time to give the car a final attention to detail so he took it to Aurora Body Works where they took the original paint down, repaired any minor imperfections, door dings etc. and then sprayed a PPG sealer over the entire body including the top, then layed down factory paint code 63, called "Desert Gold IRID" base coat. Then a PPG clear coat was sprayed on several times to achieve a beautiful mirror like finish. It makes the "Old School" color really stand out, lots of compliments. As for all the Skylark and custom badges except on the hood we decided to leave them off, including door ding strip. The new owner can instll them or maybe go in a different direction, all badges are included. This car is in excellent running condition, has no problem passing other cars on freeway or keeping up in traffic. The motor sounds great like a true muscle car, the transmission shifts like silk, no problem whatsoever, every light including back up lamps function properly.
