I am the original and only owner of this very nice 2003 Chevy Express Gulfstream conversion van. The original sticker price was $41,000+. Turn the key and drive away - needs nothing. Starts and runs great, transmission is smooth, engine is powerful. A joy to drive. Never been in an accident, fire, mudslide or flood. Never smoked in. 5.3L V8 Engine has only had Mobile 1 or equivalent synthetic. Never had any engine or transmission problems. Conversion includes four (cloth) reclining captains chairs (front 2 are power) and rear bench folds down into a bed. Separate rear stereo system (am/fm/CD) for the kids with headphone ports at all rear seats. AM/FM/cd/tape up front for mom and dad. 16 inch color TV with remote works fine. VHS player does not want to eject tape sometimes, but since everything is now on DVD we haven't used the VCR in years and have been using a portable DVD player through the auxiliary input jacks on the TV instead. Heavily tinted windows, all of which open by titlting out or with a slide panel with a screen - very nice for camping out. Accent lighting. Folding blinds on all windows except front driver and front passenger. Very private if you want to change at the beach or catch a nap. I have always kept the carpets well covered with rugs and mats so the carpet is clean and in good shape. Four wheel disk brakes, fronts are ABS. Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, tilt steering, remote entry, remote start. Alloy rims. Electric compass and outside temperature on the rear view mirror. The front tires have only about 10,000 miles on them and the rear tires have about 10,000 miles remaining life. The trailer hitch was added post purchase and used only to carry a bicycle rack - there is no trailer lighting hookup. Mechanically, the van needs nothing. Was last inspected in September. It is my policy to sell my vehicles as they approach 90,000 miles and buy something new as I am no mechanic. Cosmetically, the van is nice looking and in pretty good shape; there are some parking lot dents, dings, and scuffs commensurate with the vehicles age. If you look carefully at the picture showing the rear passenger side window, you will see the worst of these just fore and aft of the lower corners of the windows. The edges of the pinstripping and decals are starting to peel and curl in some places - if you look at the picture showing the driver's door, you will see the worst example of this issue on the upper light stripe. There is some oxidization on the alloy rims near the edges of the rims - see pictures, they have a protective plastic coating and water has seeped in and under from the edges - thus the oxidization. I had the running boards removed and repainted a couple of years ago as my daughter had an affinity for scraping curbs when she was learning to drive. The rear radio is missing a knob that changes what speakers the music is directed to. As my kids used headphones, this was not an issue for us. Please only bid if you are serious. I require a $500 deposit via paypal within 48 hours of auction close. Balance by cashier's check or good money order sent by mail within 72 hours of auction close; van does not go anywhere until bank tells me check is good - I will also take good old cash (in person). Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping. If it is arranged ahead of time, I can pick you up at the Rochester or Buffalo airport and take you and the van to motor vehicles to get your temporary tags and see you off. If you have a transit company in mind, I will work with you and them to get the van loaded on their truck.
