Vehicle Detail

I HAVE TO DOUBLE CHECK THE VIN TONIGHT AS ITS NOT SHOWING THE CARFAX - WILL UPDATE SHORTLY Up for bid is a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC with 140K Miles on it. Technically I am the 3rd owner, since the original owner was the Leasing Agency - I bought this from the 2nd official owner who had it since 30K I believe. He used Mobil 1 Synthetic as did I, kept it garaged and did all maintence. He also replaced the Airbags in the front and back - They DO NOT LEAK AT ALL!!! The car however will lower itself to a slammed position in the back if you sit in it when the ground is not level when the car is off. I am assuming this is a bad solenoid as you can hear a release valve "click" then the air release. I drive this car too and from work on the dangerous roads of Miami - its not my baby, not my weekend car, so it hasnt been babied, taken care of YES, but its seen a few rocks on 95, and a few horrible drivers. The Engine and Transmission are wonderful considering the miles. I have seen a few drops of oil in the spark plug wells as well as near the oil filter - Transmission leaks a few drops here and there - nothing appears under the car, but the bellhousing appears glossy collects a drop now and then around the plug to peak in. I have looked inside and its clean, no fluid flung around. Under the car is rust free for the most part - Steering assemblies, wheels, everything are fine -but there is a little rot on the metal that holds the gas tank.. very minor, but wanted to mention. In the wheel wells there is no rust, nor on the body of the car or anywhere else. Rims are in good shape, no peeling or cracks. Some chips and what not, but overall look very good especially when cleaned/polished - in the photos they are NOT. Amp is going bad, if fuse is left in car it will drain battery - battery is new, Alt is good - I have unplugged the amp, left the fuse in and car was fine - Never minded just pulling the fuse when it was gonna sit for more then a day, so no biggie to me. Brake pads are new in the front, good shape in the back - rotors could be changed since I didnt do them when changing pads. They look fresh, but are worn to touch. Changed sway links and ball joints in the front. All looks good. Replaced a tie rod only because the bolt fell off from being lose and couldn't replace the bolt, Pep boys refused to let me leave like that, so new tie rod it was. Blend door is fine, heat is good, AC could use recharge but I haven't been using it so I dont care enough to do it. Two new front tires with less then 1000 miles on them. Windows Work, Lights work, Seats, doors, etc - some of the button covers fell off, I glued them back, but... no luck. Ummm.... Front drivers seat has a little wear from my fat ass getting in and out. Ok, so the car was rear ended a little while back - up until then, I cherished it, after which, I gave up LOL. It was a minor rear end, but since the car is rare and parts are expensive I didnt bother replacing, just took the cash. they did NOT Salvage it, or affect the title at all. It is still Clean and Clear. The damage, Rear end pushed down a hair, exhaust shoved in a little so might need to be re-welded..i can hear it rattle. Neon cracked, ONE OF THE RAILS IS BENT. At the same time, car was pushed into a truck infront of me, so it pushed the front bumper cover up over the hood, whcih I had to crack to get hood open, and headlight is loose. it works, but needs to be re-secured into assembly. Car starts up everytime, no problems, runs smooth, sounds beautiful... Needs some work, and some parts, but all in all, still a great comfortable ride. This car is for sale as-is, and also locally so I may end the auction at any time! Below are photos - they should show everyhting - Last 2 photos are from before the accident Happy Bidding - If you have any questions please ask. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of Auction Closing
