up for sale at 5 days autction with no reserve is my original 1955 buick special 40 series 2 door hardtop no post,has the original 264ci v8 oil bath1bbl carb,and original dyna-flow transmission,the car runs and drives but will need a master cylinder it leaks brake fluid the engine sounds healthy and good and trans go's in and out of gears fine,this buick has resided it's whole life in southern califonia,the exterior is in great condition was repainted about 3-4 years ago has a few minor flaws but still has plenty of shine and looks great the original color was cadet blue and dover white,the body is very straight and rust free has one small minor rust bubble near rear window shown in pics,the frame/floors/trunk/firewall/undercarriage are all very clean solid and rust free,was never in an accident and appears to have all the original body and quarter panels,all glass is intact and in great condition,all chrome trim is inplace,all crease lines and gaps are correct and inline,the interior is in good condition and remains blue in color i have all the interior trim moldings shown in pics,still has the original sonomatic radio,i also have the original buick wheelcaps and wide white-wall tires shown in pics,the suspension was never cut or lowered,overall this is a very solid and RUST FREE california car from top to bottom,has been elderly owned and operated,keep in mind these car's are getting harder to find in this original condition,i have set my auction at 5 days with no reserve so the highest bidder will take it home,please seruius bidder's only if any questions you can contact me anytime at (562) 606-7400 i can try to answer any questions that i can,good luck bidding,i have uploaded 40+ detailed pictures if you do not see them here please click the link below,
