Excellent opportunity for a private body person or a shop to fix it now and have it ready for spring. This is a very nice 1988 Mercedes 560 SL Convertible. It has only 142K Original and is completely loaded including an extremely rare rear seat (yes I said rear seat) and trunk mounted multi CD player. It has the factory hard top and great wood inside. The seats are in good shape and other than the obvious body issues the car is in great condition for the age. As is obvious in the pictures, the car needs new front fenders, front bumper and grill, rebar, headlights and corner lights as well as about 6-8 hours labor. The hood is usable and it needs about 1 hour. There is no damage to the engine. The radiator is ok but the condenser needs to be replaced. The rest of the body (fenders back) is great and very straight. All trim (fenders back) is excellent. All glass is great. All the rims are Chrome and the spare rim is aluminum. The title is "Clean and Clear" and the car is safely stored inside my building. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced body person or shop or dealer as these cars are averaging sales in the $8,000.00 to $12,000.00 range for this collectible model with similar miles in the summer. The car starts on the first turn of the key and can be driven onto the shipping truck. I did make a mistake on the radiator, it needs to be replaced as there is a hole in the left side of it.
