A beautiful 1969 Camaro with superb paint and body. This car is striking not only for the 1969 design but the super smooth paint work which definitely turns heads and starts conversations. A razor straight car even in the difficult to do black finish. You will have to look hard to find paint defects and yes it is as shiny as the pictures show. A rare X11 car built in the Norwood plant with rare paint code 63. Professionally restored body and mechanicals. A low mileage car showing 40,000 on the odometer and title. I cannot document the mileage but the front and rear seats are original and in great condition as the best indicator. The body has received full quarters, wheel houses, inner and outer front fenders, hood and windshield, a patch in the drivers floor, It was never in a major accident with original front and rear panels. The bottom is a good original with original rustproofing still there. Many new trim pieces including the grille, headlight surrounds, tail lights, front turn signals. Z28 markings, camaro emblems, door handles, rocker trim, roof rail trim, shark fins, front and rear bumpers. The car started life as a 307 V8 automatic. The engine is rebuilt, a vintage build 1973 454 big block. The 1970 heads are also rebuilt topped off with a torquer intake and holley racing double pumper carb . The carb makes it a little cold blooded as there is no choke in this type, so warm it up before you go. Hooker headers and new 2 1/2" exhaust for more performance and a great sound. New water pump, 4 core radiator, heater core, belts, hoses, alternator, alternator brackets, power steering brackets and lines, motor mounts. Summit cam. Fresh plugs and tune up. Transmission is a turbo 350 with a shift kit and 2800 stall converter, new big block springs, rebuilt 10 bolt posi 336 gear ratio with all new seals, bearings and axles. The speedo is 6 mph high with this ratio and is good for all speeds including highway cruising. Of course you can spin the tires whenever you want. New rally wheels, trim rings, vintage corvette center caps and new tires. The interior was freshened with new door panels, carpet, and package tray. The dash is nice and uncut. The console is also very nice. The interior is presentable but will need some more work to match the rest of the car. It will need a headliner which is included and could use rear side panels as they are frayed at the bottom corners. The radio does not work, I usually listen to the engine instead. New brake lines, e brake cables, fuel lines and gas tank. New disc brake kit, slotted and drilled. Original manual and protecto plate There are some character flaws in the body. The rear window trim has a space at each corner. The rear panel has 2 small holes for mounting the delivering dealer name plate but the plate was lost in the restoration. There is a run in the clear coat on the inside of the drivers door. The bottom was not detailed like the top but it is good. I am sorry to see this one go as I bought this for myself but one more tuition payment is calling. I have not driven it much since the restoration as winter set in but it does drive nice. I would recommend a closed truck for this car to maintain the beautiful paint with no dings or srcatches. I would not want it to see salt or snow. The last picture is my 69 Firebird, a real 400 car, matching numbers with air from New Mexico. Rare lime light green with rare options of power antenna, remote mirror, shoulder belts and air that is all there. Rebuilt engine. The firebird should be available in a few weeks.
