up for sale at 3 days with no reserve is my all original 1969 mercury cougar XR7 model "H" code engine,has the original 351ci 2v engine and FMX automatic transmission,car runs and drives can be driven anywhere but will need a tune-up,factory options include power steering and disc brakes,air condition,working tachometer and clock,full console and bucket seats,the body and paint is in good condition body is very straight paint is very nice but does have a few flaws was repainted several years ago and was well taken care of,all crease lines and gaps are correct and inline,the hood was upgraded to a '70 model cougar many years ago,this car is completely RUST FREE from top to bottom body/frame/floors/trunk/undercarraige are all very solid and clean,has the original black interior is in good condition the two front seats are a little cracked and dashpad has a few cracks,other than that everything else including door panels/kick panels/carpet/rear seat/instrument panel/headliner are all in great condition,all glass and chrome is intact and in good condition,this cougar has resided it's whole life in southern california,has been elderly owned and operated with the same owner since 1979 overall this car is a very solid and rust free CA car from top to bottom,getting harder to find in this original condition,i have the paperwork when purchased new from sachs & sons ford in downey ca,i have the original owners manual and warranty card,i have set my auction at 3 days with no reserve so the highest will take it home,so serious bidders only,if any question feel free to contact me anytime at (562) 606-7400 i am located in southern ca,good luck bidding
