Vehicle Detail

This is a good project van. Or if you need a good 81 302 this might still be worth it. Dont have time anymore needs to go. I bought this van out of portland oregon under ebay name ragtopvan so it is solid underneath some of the panels have started to rot along the bottom as you can see but i have new slider door and front doors in good shape. If you look through the auctions you will find various parts i bought but here's everything. Rebuilt motor 40000 I have the old motor if you want it very clean as it ran on propane just had a fresh motor built up with edelbrock cam, weiand high rise, msd billet distributor, aternater, water pump everything is new on that and its an 81 so some parts dont interchange, rebuilt tranny c4 20000, msd ignition, new radiator, new heater core, new starter, new shocks, new exhaust, headers are a few years old little rusted but should still be good. I have tons of nos parts in old boxes to many to list handles all sorts of goodies you could prob make a ton just buying and relisting parts i just dont have the time and i really would like to see the right person buy and restore this vehicle. This Van used to run on propane if you are looking to convert a vehicle i have everything still minus the hose. Just rebuilt the vaporizer, the mixer/carb needs to be rebuilt is a very simple job just a few diaphrams anyone with any mechanic skills could do this, just needed vehicle at time and had to wait for parts so thats when i converted back to gas. It is also still titled as propane which is tax write off, should you convert back;) This van has some rot along the sides from sitting a couple years here in buffalo but the underside is so solid when i converted it back to gas the original lines were still good. It is still solid underneath. I am leaving the reserve on this vehicle very low as i need it off my friends property before it gets stuck up here in the snow. It is alot lower then the buy it now and it's well worth 1200 I'm sure you would get even more parted out. If you buy this you must pick it up or arrange delivery i have alot of parts at my house 2 miles away but can bring everything over exept the spare motor. If you want this as well i can help but will probably need yours as well. I do want it off my porch so will do everything i can to help. I will accept cash, or cashier check. I may be able to accept paypal through a friends account for deposit if it helps. I need a 120 dollars if its gonna be a while before your going to pick it up like if you are an out of stater for a deposit for the auction and to tow it to my house so it doesnt get stuck and my friend gets off my case. Other then that if you want to wait till you get here i am fine with that within reason. It is as is but theres plenty here. I havent started this vehicle in 18 months though and the battery is completely dead so i dont know if it will start but as you can see everything is pretty new and the motor was running fine when I took this off the road. I'm pretty sure with a new battery it'll start after a couple cranks, always started right up. I just got very sick and now that i'm well again i dont need a van anymore and dont have the time to restore this one. Any questions will be answered quickest by calling my cell, Dave, at 716 982 3016. Emails may take a bit not online everyday and actually using my friends account for this but i'll make sure he'll check as he is eager to get this off his property, really the only reason i'm selling and for so cheap. Good luck bidding. On Jan-20-11 at 12:09:01 PST, seller added the following information: I just realised that the brand new radiator i put in had a leak. I will send this to everyone that has placed a bid and if you are currently top bidder and stay there i will either let you retract your bid or bargain down against the 2cnd highest. Hopefully there is enough time left that everyone bidding can take this into account. It is not my intention to mislead anyone i just forgot since its been a couple years. If you are local i am hoping that the shop i bought it from will fix the leak. I did not drive at all after installing it so you can see even after a few years it looks brand new and they will probably remember me cause i bought the gas tank there and that van on propane jogs memories. They were going to fix it years ago when it happened but i was running my own business and got sidetracked and forgot. I am sorry for any inconvience i will try to get up there tommarrow morning and make sure it is the radiator and not something stupid but i am pretty sure it is the radiator so please take into account. Not sure but it seems like someone that know radiators should be able to find the leak and weld or sodder it for not to much.
