I bought this car from a guy who never drove it, and it had been sitting for a while. I have welded in a new floor pan on the driver side and sealed it. I have used rubberized undercoating on the entire floor of the car so it will not rust out again. The motor was very tired and had massive valve seal damage, I pulled the motor and put in a 302 block that was just rebuilt by a friend. The current motor has way more horsepower then the stock 302 HO because it has ported and polished heads which I believe are from a 289 (flow better then the e7's), Has a larger cam, has all the emissions on engine bypassed, and has equal length bbk shorties. The Auto trans has a shift kit, and the 89 AOD did not have a governor so you can go higher in rpms.
