1991 Volvo 780 Bertone black/black lo miles. If you know this car, you will know that it is a rapidly appreciating classic, and 1991, the final year, is the most desirable one, especially black/black. They imported about 500 of these in the US that year. An economical turbo powered 4 cyl, with Volvo reliability, on a Bertone designed coach. The car looks like a 1980's Maserati, but runs like a 740 turbo, with a better suspension. I have several of these. I have had this car for 3 years or so, and had started to restore it. It says 104,xxx on the odometer, but I believe it be be more like 158k, as the title report indicates. I had the head gasket replaced a year ago. Trans is fine. This car starts and drives, but is not currently inspected. It is an older repaint, in good shape. It is a good candidate for restoration, as the interior and body are is in good condition, except for the bottom drivers seat stitching, the HVAC works, and the engine starts and runs fine ( small valve tick while it is cold, quiets down after a few minutes.) Turbo works well. Brakes are good. Front spoiler intact. Tires match, in good shape, about 60 % tread left. Sunroof does not leak. One dash crack in the usual place. There are several small dents on the hood and trunk, probably from tree branches, a small ding below license plate, and a another on the right rear quarter. Car looks straight, with no noticeable orange peel. Under the hood, car is extremely clean. -- known to do list: 1. Windshield is cracked. Stable, but needs fixing. 2. Radio is not hooked up, and needs new speakers. 3. Ready for a new battery. 4. Instrument cluster speedo, tack, water, and turbo gauges don't work. 5. Drivers seat bottom needs stitching. 6. Rear nivomat shocks are ready for replacement. 7. One driving light glass is missing. 8. Bertone Badges are off the car, but in glove box - I think the car looks cooler without them 9. Dents on hood and trunk from tree debris ( branches). 10. Passenger side window switch is broken NOTE: I just charged the old battery overnight with a slow 10 amp charge, and it started right up this morning in the snow! The heater is HOT! Radio and equalizer turns on, but no speakers. Power seats work. Car drives fine, even in snow, due to limited slip differential, only available on 1991 model year. Local Pickup only. Happy Bidding.
