This bike has been in my collection for awhile, always stored inside. The previous owner crashed after purchasing the bike in 1987 and parked it for years. The water pump has been replaced and the inside of the cases on the water pump side are excellent, no leaks of any fluids. The bike is factory stock and not restored; just a very low hour trail ridden motorcycle. The original front tire is in great condition and the original Dunlop was cracked from age and being stored with a flat tire so the rear tire is a brand new Dunlop MX51. OEM pipe/expansion chamber in in excellent condition with original Honda factory OEM finish and original exhaust mounting hardware. Has aftermarket silencer. Original handle bars are in excellent condition with original factory finish and not tweaked or bent. Original levers (note levers have been refinished), perches, grips and throttle and all cables. Excellent original gold factory rims with very nice spokes. Rear mono shock works well, front forks rebound well and no leaks with no pitting of chrome sliders. Original factory fork boots/gators without rips but are aged. Front and rear fender in very good condition and rear fender has original factory warning labels (original stickers not reproduction stickers) original factory seat cover in excellent condition. Note the gas tank has some scratches and fading from stickers; the radiator shrouds are a little tweaked and have scratches. I replaced the original Honda CR500 shroud decals with a new set as the original ones were in poor condition from age. Original OEM factory finish on all three number plates; not refinished. I was told that the motor has never been apart (with the exception of the side case to replace the water pump) again attesting to a low hour and an unmolested motorcycle. I have tried to explain the bike as well as possible, note this is a 24 year old motorcycle and does not have any warranty implied or any guarantee and no returns. Very hard to find original unmolested CR500 , no frame repairs or modifications and has original factory frame paint that has not been touched up. Bottom of frame cradle is in very good condition.
