Up for sale is my 1993 Mazda MPV minivan. I purchased this vehicle last month specifically for the purpose of moving my stuff from my house to my folks place in Colorado. The stuff has been moved, and it is time to let this van go. The van was purchased in the DFW metroplex, and has a recent inspection sticker. As DFW has emissions tests, the vehicle was tested and passed. I have a copy of the emissions test in the van. I put a fast 1800 miles on it, and it performed well, without consuming any oil. I put about $450 into the van to make it road worthy. These included replacing the power steering pump, replacing a mutilated alternator bracket, new belts for alternator and power steering pump, new wiper blades all around, replaced worn out linkage for passenger side wiper, replaced drivers seat belt, new oil, oil and air filters, sway bar bushings, and a new AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with USB port. The van still needs the following: ball joints, valve cover gasket for drivers side cylinder bank, timing belts (age unknown), valve stem seals (does smoke a little on a cold start), cam followers (noisy on cold start, but does quiet down after a few minutes), heater core flushed (heat barely works), and suspension bushings. This is a good cheap beater van for someone who simply wants a cheap vehicle to drive. The van has the typical dents dings, scratches, and parking lot rash typical for a vehicle of this age and mileage. If the buyer has some mechanical know-how, the above list can be completed relatively cheap. The seats are currently out of the van, and my helper's back has gone out, so I have not been able to put them back in. If they are not back in when the buyer shows up, I will put the seats back in with the buyer's assistance when they come by to pick up the van. The buyer does NOT have the option of leaving the seats behind. The van is being priced to sell, so bid to win. Buyer needs to pick up the vehicle quickly after the auction ends, as I am looking at relocating very soon for a new job.
