Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my original #s matching triple gold 1969 oldsmobile cutlass S convertible. It runs nicely and drives well and you can drive it up and down our private street. It does not smoke or make any funny noises. The power top works but is missing the front bow. The top of the windshield where the top rests has no rust and the lower windshield panel at the base of the windshield has no rust. All stainless and trim is there. I have removed some of the these pieces since the pictures were taken and just realized the work it needs is more than I can do. It is bundled up and marked where it goes. There is not one piece missing. It has new belts, hoses, brake pads, 2 front rubber brake lines and 4 new shocks. It has several options as you can see on the original window sticker in one of the last pictures. It has the orig. warranty card, protecto plate and owners manual in the original plastic sleeve and all are in very nice condition. The first owner may have been a relative of the Oldsmobile dealership in Southern Pines NC as their last name is the same as the dealership. At over 4 thousand dollars it was an expensive car it the day. It has power windows. All of them work except the passenger front window. The power trunk release works. The front rotors are the original 2 piece set. The engine is a matching # 350 with a 2bbl.. The transmission is a turbo 350 with a floor mounted console shift and I think it is original. All of the AC components are there. It has an open 12 bolt rear. I am not sure how rare it is with the triple gold colors, but I have not seen another one. There is rust holes in the drivers floor area. It has a few small holes near the console and right footwell area. There is rust on the drivers door, quarters and lower front fenders, but all is repairable. The trunk floor looks nice. The frame is nice with just some surface rust. The seats were stolen but I have the console and another set of correct A body bucket seats and both sections of the rear seat for the convertible only. They are black and will need new foams and covers. The dash is not cracked and untouched. The key buzzer still works and you can see the sticker stripe on the orig. radiator cap. This car had been repainted once many years ago but everything else looks original. Still has all 4 of the orig. T3 headlights. The windshield is cracked but all the other glass is nice and factory tinted. This is not a fire sale and I do not need to sell. I am also going to list my nice driver condition blue/blue with white convertible top 69 cutlass S convertible in another auction. I may consider a trade for the 2 cars. It would have to be a nice 4 speed muscle car in the 20K range. No trucks, boats, motorcycles etc.. on trade.
