It's a 327 Double Hump Heads. To all bidders, As much as I appreciate your interest in my car I will not be giving it away for much less than asking price. I don't need the money that bad but don't blame you for trying. I will keep and enjoy until the right money is offered. For sale is my Black Classic 1966 Chevy Impala Convertible. The miles read 37,579 but I'm sure that is not correct. The 327 Original matching number engine looks and runs good for it's age and is a daily driver for me. Note: I do drive this car daily so this milage is based on todays number. Convertible top goes up and down with a touch of a button and is in good shape. Paint and bumpers are in decent shape with some issues see photos. Gas gauge does not work but I keep it full so it's never an issue. I think it just needs a new sending unit since car is old. The stereo is nothing to brag about but it works o.k. has a cassette player not CD. This car as you can see is beautiful and could be used for many years As Is or you could have it restored to it's Maximum Collectors Value. Car is being sold AS IS. Car has had previous damage and was repaired by previous owner, 1 area I'm aware of was the passenger side rear end. Car was inspected underneath by local restoration shop and was found to be in good shape and was told it's a very nice car to restore. Weather stripping, side mirrors, gauges, glove box spring and visors need tlc since car has not been restored. I'm o.k. with all noted as is but wanted to mention it. The drivers side interior door and back side panels are in the same shape as one in photo. Shifter works by pull up and then front and back method. This is NOT an SS Impala even though some emblems show SS. I'm very bad about car knowledge but will try to answer or get answered and questions you may have so feel free to contact me through Ebay.
