1972 Volkswagon Beetle. Approximately 50,000 original miles. Bill of sale from 1995 states 44,300 miles. Rust-free California car needing completion. Engine turns and ran several years ago. Sheetmetal is very nice. Metal fenders are new. Only area needing repair is under the battery on the floor – a previous welded repair – that would benefit from new metal patchwork if you want it perfect. Very solid, only surface rust on the floor of the car – see photos of top and bottom of floor pan. Some surface rust on driver’s floor because water sat when car spent a few months outside while for sale by previous owner. Has aftermarket front bumper, original rear bumper. Blue paint is new, but is poorly applied by hobbyist restorer (father and son team). Father passed away so project never completed. Black interior. Car is complete. Car originally from Modesto California. Title is signed over to a woman from Murphys California with a Bill of Sale from 1995. Last California registration is from that time. Car sold as is. Note. I have available all parts to complete to original condition, including new bumpers (one from Germany), headliner, seat covers, dashpad, foam dash front, knobs, new seat foams, new hubcaps etc… This is available separately if the new buyer wishes to complete to original specifications.
