MILEAGE IS 54,814 as of January 5, 2010 at 6 pm. This vehicle was bought as my personal car and is an Audi Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. 300 items were inspected just before I bought it. I bought it in August of 2008 at University Park Audi (now renamed as Audi Dallas - same people, new name). I am a "car guy" - a true car lover - and have personally owned and shown many prestigious makes. As an example of how well I take care of my cars, my 1936 Rolls-Royce took a First Place in a national car show and I have won First Places in Texas and California region car clubs beginning in 1994. This Audi is my every day car and I am really picky about how it is kept and maintained. Audi has an excellent engineering history that goes back to the early 1900's and Audi is experiencing a rebirth of popularity. The photos do not do it justice. It is pristine in every way - a true creme puff. It has always been in the South (Dallas, Texas) and not experienced the harsh weather and salt of colder climates. To my knowledge every device and function is in impeccable operating condition and fully maintained, serviced, and ready to serve its third owner. I have replaced this car and it is time for it to find its new family. It has a better ride than my prior two daily drivers - a 1991 Bentley Turbo R and a 2004 Jaguar XJ8. This car is truly a driver's car in every respect, but it can haul a lot of adult sized passengers and their luggage too in absolute luxury. The long wheelbase provides ample room for passengers. IT IS A VERY SPACIOUS CAR! IT IS A VERY LUXURIOUS CAR! IT IS A TERRIFIC DRIVER'S CAR! The leather, wood, headliner, and all interior components are in remarkable shape. I tend to be fanatical on care of my fine motor cars. I have had the oil changed twice as much as suggested. The brake fluid and coolant have been recently changed out by the University Park Audi, too. The windshield does have one filled chip on the driver's side - repaired so that it will not allow the original windshield to crack. Front air dam (well under bumper) has a crack in it that has been secured and is not easily noticed. Also, the spare tire wheel has been recently patched so that it holds air. The car has books and records documenting proper care. The service manual even has the service stamps logging the maintenance at the University Park Audi. This A8L comes with Audi Care which pays for the next scheduled annual maintenance service in June 2011. The Audi factory Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty expires August 31, 2011. Caveat: You will need to confirm the transferability of Audi Care and the Extended Factory Warranty with Audi directly by calling your local Audi dealer and providing the VIN and having the dealer confirm that they will honor the Audi Care and Extended CPO Factory Warranty. Make sure to tell, them that I am an individual owner (not a dealer) selling the car to you as an individual. OF COURSE, IT HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. This car has a lot of extras as is evidenced by the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. The front seats offer massage which is great on long trips, heated front and rear seats, the front seats also have a ventilated cooling feature, there are two vanity mirrors in the front and two vanity mirrors in the back, 19 Inch Wheels, and a magnificent wooden steering wheel which is nicer than all of my former cars. It also has the Bose 6 CD, AM-FM and Satellite Radio sound system with integrated navigation and bluetooth. It has the ski storage option in the middle of the back seat and trunk - which I used once to bring window blinds to my home. The color is Magic Blue (a deep hued silver blue with metal flake) and the finest quality of leather in Dove Gray. The deep burl wood is in perfect condition. At 54,814 miles it is hardly broken in.
