This car is in near mint condition and amazing for a 1997. The car has spent its entire life in the South. The car has been incredibly well cared for and has used Rotella oil. I just recently picked the car from Memphis Tennesee for may Dad. Unfortunately he has been recently confined to a wheel chair and now needs a van to accomodate his wheel chair. Regarding the condition of the car: The outside is 9.5/10 and the inside is a 9/10 (three tiny cracks in the dashboard around the defroster vents less than 3/4" in length). There is absolutely no rust on the outside of the car and only two very small impressions on the front quarter panel that are smaller than a dime and hardly noticeable (no paint damage). There are a brand new set of floor mats included that I purchased for my Dad, however, the current ones are very clean (8/10) and servicebale. The original rugs are near perfect without stains, the same for ther trunk rug. The headliner, wood and the rest of the intereior are in exquisite condition. The original first aid kit is in the car and complete. The Premium Michelin Tires have about 40% wear remaining. I have just done $1,585.26 worth of upgrades on this vehicle to make sure it is in top condition. These repairs include an A/C compressor, Evacuate & recharge system drier, changed the Evaporative temp sensor, freon, Front lower ball joints both sides, shifter bushing, idler pulley, belt, oil change, and tire rotation. I have attached a copy of the receipt. I have added a truck mat along with brand new mud flaps. The car runs and operates in perfectly. Every option works and performs as it should. I trust that you will not find a better more reasonably priced Mercedes Diesel of this vintage anywhere in the Country. i\ This vehicle is being sold in "as is" condition.
