For sale is my 1979 Mercedes Benz 300SD. I bought this in the summer of 2008 for my son to use to commute to high school. As he is now away at college it is just sitting. The vehicle runs good but the body is just fair. The engine runs fine, the transmission shifts good but leaks fluid. When I bought the car I replaced the rear exhaust, the steering shaft coupler and rebuilt the vacuum pump. We also replaced the front windshield as it was cracked. The body has rust in the front valence, on both rockers, in the front fenders aft of the wheels and in the rear fenders forward of the wheels. The interior is in decent condition, the drivers seat bolster is torn. The HVAC does not work, the heat is either on or off. Power windows work, the sunroof works, the door locks work. The mileage is unknown as the odometer was not working when I bought the car. This car would make a good beater or could be used as a parts car.
