Selling my above average 1994 Ford F150 4x4 Pickup truck. Honest condition, nothing to hide, nice old truck. Right up front, I will tell you that this truck has a salvage title. However, it shouldn't. Prior to my buying the truck, it was apparently in a slight rear-end collision, and the insurance company for the owner at the time was lazy and allowed it to be salvage titled when it was repaired. Fortunately, my neighbor, who purchased the truck from the insurance company and then sold it to me, got a good picture of the damage which appears to be to the tailgate only. I have the original photo of that damage and that photo will always stay with the truck. I have taken a picture of the picture and it is in this listing. I think you will agree that this was WAY too little damage to have allowed this truck to end up with a salvage title, but it is what it is. I have owned the truck for almost 5 years, and I have put about 7k miles on it and it drives fine. Other "less than perfect" facts about the truck are as follows: it is NOT rust free, but pretty good, with what there is being an easy fix. See pics. The bed is in very good shape. (I have kept a topper on it and stored it under a car port.) The air compressor for the air needs replaced. The rear window latch is gone and the window is held shut with a small piece of pipe strap. The four wheel drive works fine. The light for the "granny gear" does not come on when it is selected, so I don't know if granny gear works or not. I never used it, because I had no stumps to pull. I just know the "go down the road" gear works fine and that light does come on when selected. I have tried to describe the truck honestly. (See my perfect rating.) But nothing is as good as a personal inspection. Feel free to contact me to arrange that. You are bidding to buy the truck, not for a chance to inspect it after the fact. If you show up and the truck is not as described, I will release you from any obligation to buy. Now, for the good: this truck has been unbelievably reliable. It has started flawlessly even in the most bitter cold and not having been started in weeks at times. (It has low miles because I basically drove it only on the occasional pickup errand and in snow.) It is very sure footed in snow. It has a bumper hitch and is wired for a trailer. I have never pulled anything big or heavy with it. The camper shell comes off easy. If you don't want it, I will keep it. Otherwise it goes with the truck. The truck has a 351 V8 engine that runs super strong and smooth. It is a real pleasure to drive. You will be surprised how nice it is overall for a 17 year old truck. I bought it with only 68k miles on it and it now has about 75k. You won't find another 4x4 F150 this nice with this low miles at this starting bid price. It probably has another 100k miles of life left in it before you would need to do anything major.
