here is my 90 454ss. it is mostly unaltered. it has a new raidiator,new trans[OD],new muffler and tail pipe,excellent tires,original spare,new belt,excellent interior that is all original,deep oil pan on the trans,5 original factory wheels[5th is on the spare].it has an old rhino liner that is peeling[i would say,do not buy rhino liners BECAUSE they will NOT back up their product for any reason.the complete truck is original less the 700r4 od trans that was rebuilt to the tune of $1200 last spring. it has a new fuel filter,excellent breaks,but doe need a break booster[$99.99] from a local parts house.the r12 a/c is perfect[blows under 40 at the vents,excellent heater,am/fm cassette,with 5 band equalizer[factory],no leaks from the engine,trans,rear end,gas tank,rad,etc.it also has a new 84 month battery and 105 amp alt. it does not smoke or knock,but it does have a dead #8 cylinder. the valve train is ok. i am guessing it has a stuck ring or broken ring on the #8. i have babied this truck since it was new,although i am the 2nd owner,i have driven it since it was new. my intention is to put it in a local shop monday and have it repaired and then i will keep it until it falls apart,but if i can sell it this weekend,it will go to a new home because i dont really want to put any more into it. you can drive it home on 7,or you can put it on a flat bed,your choice if you buy it.i have no idea why the #8 went belly up as it did it without any warning.since this is my only way of getting around until i replace it,i will keep driving it. the paint is shiney and smooth. if you wax it,you can read a book in it[almost,it was repainted in 1996,so it is excellent for time since repaint. the cowl hood is new and has primer paint on it. the original hood was dented from a tree limb,and the local chev dealer wanted $597 for an original hood,but i bought the new cowl for $325.00,so that is not hard to figure out.i have all the original papers,and the original window sticker showing the options and total cost. i am selling as is. i have not hidden any known problems,rather than what i have LISTED. i dont want to spend the $ to fix the engine if i can get around it,but i will rather than keep driving it as it is now,and i dont want to buy a big $ replacement truck without selling this truck,hence,this truck is for sale as it is sitting her now. it will be well worth your time to fix it if you want a not dicked around with 99% original 90 454SS truck. email questions are ok,tire kickers are not.
