I bought this Mini Cooper about 6 months ago from the original owner. The original owner bought it new as her first new car and she cried when she sold it to me. She really babied it. She had it ordered exactly how she wanted it. She only sold because she was going to have her first baby and wanted a four door. She had all the services done at the Mini Dealer in Escondido, CA where she bought it. I have all of the maintenance records. The transmission was in fact fully replaced at 25,000 along with the clutch kit due to some unusual metal shavings in it from the manufacturer. Thus while the car has 79,000 miles on it, the transmission and clutch kit have only about 55,000. I will give you all service records upon request. The miles are mostly highway. She had a long commute to work. I myself put on a lot of miles as I went across country and back a few months ago with no problems. Everything works on this car. It runs great. The transmission is very smooth. It gets great gas mileage. People constantly stop to look at it, especially when the top is down. No accidents! It also has a 3.5mm mini jack input to plug in your smart phone or iphone to listen to music. It has a small trailer hitch as well custom for the Mini. You can put on a bike hitch and a bunch of cool Mini trailers. I never used it but the prior owner mounted her bicycle on it. I need to sell it because I need to buy a van. Title has no liens and is in my name.
