Up for sale is a great 1964 for ranchero pickup, 170 six cylinder with rare factory 4 speed manual transmission.  I purchased this vehicle about 4 yrs ago from the original owner who had me meet with his mechanic of 15 yrs who took meticulous care of this ranchero.  It has been garaged it's entire life, rear brakes and rear end was done before I bought it.  The motor was rebuilt at 100k and it has 116k now.  Clutch was replaced about 5k miles ago.  I also replaced the battery, voltage regulator and starter.  The truck runs great, I drive it almost every day and have never had any issues with it, it starts right up and cruises great.  It is a small 170 engine, but with the 4 speed, I have no problem cruising age 70 on the freeway and get suprisingly good gas mileage.  It does not burn any oil, but does drip a little oil when it sits for a couple days, I think it my be from the oil drain plug (should be easy fix) I recently put a custom autosound radio and new 2 way speaker in the dash which looks like the original radio but with an ipod (auxillary cable) and tape player so it has better sound with the original nostalgic look.  I also put new wheels with baby moons and beauty rings recently.  All the chrome and stainless is in great shape.  The original owner told me he had the car painted once, and the paint is in great shape, even the bed looks great!  The original vinyl bench seats and door panels are in great condition, the carpet is in good shape, but has faded to a brown color.  Everything on this car works great, including all the stuff that stops working on these old cars, lights, turn signals, dash, speedo, vents all work.  I have a two speed switch for the windshield wipers that I need to put in, but the wipers will work when the switch is put in.  The truck has hard to find black plates, original spare tire, jack and tire iron.  Clean title and pink slip.  I take great care of this car, always garaged, never driven in the rain.  There is a little rust in the underbody of the bed, see pictures.  This is not a significant amount of rust but it is a common area where rust forms in these rancheros.  I have the original sales receipt from the ford company of Los Angeles.
