1937 OLDSMOBILE 4 DOOR TOURING SEDAN 1937 Oldsmobile F-37 Touring Sedan (4-Door) The back doors are suicide. NO RESERVE!!! You are bidding on a very clean and solid olds in and out. This car runs smooth and shifts smooth . It's a 3 speed on the floor. has the origanal 95 horse power, flat six-cylinder engine. I-Beam X type frame. Dual ride stabilizers one in the front of the chassis and one in the rear. Double-action shock absorbers providing a smooth comfortable ride garranteed. All-silent, syncro-mesh Transmission makes shifting easy, quick and quiet. Every wire has been replaced except the one going to the dome light which works fine, didn’t want to remove the headliner just for that. Every socket was taken apart and soldered the new wires into them, then wrapped them with cloth tape. Replaced the 6-Volt battery. Added fog lights and turn signals from that era. Added a master cut-off switch for power under the hood. Added new 15 inch cooker wide whitewalls. I had the master brake cylinder professionally rebuilt with brass. Rebuilt all brakes. Gas tank was redone and rubber coated. Replaced original hubcaps w/new (I have the original ones). Added stainless steel trim rings. Restored the whole trunk area and detailed with new wood and trim panels. Painted the engine and detailed the engine compartment. Restored the running boards using new rubber covers. I bypassed the original vacuum fuel pump and added a 6-volt electric pump which works great. All chrome has been re-plated and looks great. Replaced the carrier bearing and rubber sleeve on the driveshaft. (Two extremely hard parts to find) The whole interior has all been professionally redone top to bottom. The whole exhaust is also new. All the glass is in great shape. All rubber seals are new on doors, trunk, hood. Things I still wanted to do to the car. Add a 6-volt vacuum pump to run the wipers since I bypassed the vacuum fuel pump. (The vacuum fuel pump did both, feed fuel and run wipers). I never got around to this because the car never sees rain. Restore the original 16” wheels and put them back on the car. Wich I also have and are included with the car. Restore the original radio and put back in the car. I have the original radio out of the car but the head is in the dash. The car is for sale locally so I have the right to end auction early.
