Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 ALL RIGHT FOLKS, HERE WE HAVE A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF A VINTAGE VOLVO 1971 1800E: I am the 3rd owner and bought this car from a Volvo collector and restorer. Currently showing 91378 miles on an original engine which has never been opened, just professionally serviced with operating overdrive, air conditioning and stock radio. Engine burns no oil or leaks fluids. The body is straight with no signs of wavey bondo, rust, or dents. The fuel injection system operates perfectly and will start in the coldest weather. This is a matching number car. There is NO rust in the floors and rockers. It accelerates and brakes very well and cruises strong on the freeway; with overdrive it hits around 2700 RPM @ 65 mph. You can trust this car to be your daily driver. Work done by the previous owner: Outriggers and outer rockers were replaced; the body was dismantled including windows, lights etc. Body was media blasted and welding was professionally done. All welds were properly sealed insuring long lasting results. Rubber seals were replaced as all the side chrome with CORRECT Volvo parts. Bumpers were re-chromed. The car had an expensive paint job in the original color (gold) – it is simply gorgeous! Brakes were overhauled with new hoses, rebuilt calipers, and master. New shocks were installed with new Panasport wheels and tires.Upgraded to the Craines electronic system Complete new sport exhaust system New fuel pump New Battery Work done by me: New clutch cableNew front tie rodsNew brake padsRecent wheel alignment by Volvo specialist; the car drives as straight as an arrow, even at higher speedsRecent headlight adjustmentNew fuel linesNew spark plugsRecent engine and transmission oil changeNew overdrive gasketNew brake and radiator fluidNew stock air filterRecent valve clearance adjustment I have receipts of all the work that I have done on the car. Seats were restored in leather some years ago. Dash and gauges are working (except the clock) as well as the stock radio. Cocco mats and a beautiful Nardi wood wheel enhance your driving experience. As you can see by the pictures, both the interior and exterior of the car are in awesome condition. There are only a couple of tiny stone chips on the hood that are barely visible. I have been driving this car on a daily basis in summer, and reluctantly, because of new family circumstances, am forced to sell it. I put much money and work into this car and it truly hurts to sell it. Similar 1800s with lesser quality paint have sold for mid twenty thousand dollar range… This car is being sold as is, but feel free to ask any questions. $1000 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hrs of auction closure. The car will be securely garaged until pickup and buyer is responsible for shipping. Good luck to you all, and please, serious bidders only. WINNING THE AUCTION MEANS YOU BOUGHT THIS CAR! GOOD LUCK!
