I have a 1964 Ford thunderbird that runs an drives. The only thing that would need to be done to this car is a new paint job an the interior would also need to be done but once all that is finish it would make a great show car. I dont have the time or funds to finish the car.On Dec-25-10 at 11:17:07 PST, seller added the following information: This is a 1964 ford thunderbird. mostly original. the motor & trans were changed when the original motor blew. the replacement motor is a 1969 ford 460. with a 4bbrl holley carb & holley valve covers & electric in line fuel pump. also has old cherry bomb dual exhaust. sounds like a beast. Leaks no oil or water. all freeze plugs look good. a fresh tune up & fluids will make it run even better than it does now. the replacement trans is a 1969 ford c/6 trans. shifts smooth. felt good on the high-way. especially the getting on part. this thing is fast. trans goes into reverse good too. trans has a minor leak tho. not sure from where. Guessing its just from sitting for so long with no fluid, the pan gasket dry rotted.??? the body is solid no rust along the frame or wheel wells. all the chrome is still on the car. doors open & close great. could use some tires. they too are old & dry rotted. altho they do hold air. the breaks work but feel stiff. most of the lights work. break lights, head lights, & turn siginal lights work. only one of the reverse lights work. think the other just needs a bulb, . the interor is all original. & sun dried. dash board has a split in it. the head liner is folling in and 50% there. the dome, door, dash, & back lights work. the tilt away steering wheel works. the power seat motors work. but arent very strong. this is all that I know about this car.
