Your getting the chance to bid and own a piece of Pontiac history. This is a TRUE Formula Firebird, Big Pontiac 400 4bbl with an M20 4 speed transmission. In 1972, GM had a worker strike so production stopped. After the strike, all cars on the line were scrapped due to new Government regulations now being in place. This car is; 1 of 5249 Firebirds produced, 1 of 1082 Formulas with 400 4bbl and 4 speed transmission with Deluxe interior. The engine is very strong, it was rebuilt by prevous owner so I do not know any details but I can tell you it is very powerfull, Dual Exhaust out the back, Power Disk Brakes in front, however there is a leak in the master cylinder I dont have time to repair so if driving the car, you need to be careful, but the car can be driven. The interior is original, very nice considering the age, dash is cracked, front seats are worn but seat bottoms are good, back seat ius in nice shape, included is a VERY RARE REAR SEAT CONSOLE. Original box included, a rebuilt 1972 TILT STEERING column included but not installed, extra center console NEW, Nice Black dash not yet installed, ram air parts and more. This is the car to restore, very nice and rare vintage as the numbers show. I have another project so this one has to go.
