This is my 1999 Isuzu Vehicross. If you are not familiar with this SUV, It is because they are fairly rare with only 4,153 total imported to the US between 1999 and 2001. It features a 215 hp V6, Automatic transmission with TOD controlled 4wd, A factory Recarro interior, and a very unique hand built (by Isuzu) 2 door body. I bought this Vehicross in January 2004, and have pretty much babied her ever since. Up until 2.5 years ago she slept in the garage every night. As of today she had 193,516 miles on the odometer, but you'd never guess it by driving her. I used her to commute over 500 miles a week for several years (all highway!), and we've taken a few cross country trips together. Off road use has been minimal and very light, and she has been smoked in (windows always open!) She gets Mobil 1 every 5k or less, K&N air cleaner, Just replaced one of the six ignition modules. She does need a little attention, the power steering hose leaks, a/c needs charge, there is a ding in the hood, and some rust is forming under the roof rack on the passenger side. To my knowledge i am the second owner, and she has always lived in Florida. There is no signs of any other rust and the under body is clean, suspension tight, and she drives great. She does need new tires. The passenger windows works fine, the drivers window just started acting up(just my luck!) as do most other items and controls. the cruise control has its moment and the abs /cel lights take turns illuminating for no apparent reason. I would drive this truck anywhere, literally with out hesitation, clear title in hand. There has been some semi custom work done to this truck. I installed a class three , custom made hitch (purchased through vehicross.info) and have towed up up to a porsche 928 with her with no issues (about 5,000 lbs with trailer.) she has the front marker lights converted to blink with the directionals (safety), a factory Isuzu clock has been added to the lower console, a custom overhead console has been added, "back packs" have been added to each front seat for added storage. Also included is a hood mask, factory rear cargo net and mat, there is is a rear back up camera installed, but the monitor has been removed. Overall a very unique Truck with high miles that still runs GREAT but needs a little attention. She has PLENTY of life left in her, and does not drive like a used up or high mileage vehicle in my opinion. To my knowledge this truck has never been in an accident, unless you count the chunk of wood that bounced off the hood and left a ding. The windshield was also replaced after that little incident. I will shed a few tears when she goes to her new owner, but must sell due to unexpected financial issues. The Buy it now price is $4500.00, when you research these you will find the average value is much higher. I have adjusted it accordingly for the few relatively minor repairs needed, and highway mileage.
