1961 Triumph

Up for sale is a rare 1961 triumph 5ta speedtwin all original with bathtub enclosure, nacelle headlight assembly, original front fender.  It's hard to find these triumphs with their original british sheetmetal in the states. Original smiths speedo, amal carb, air cleaner. I purchased this bike from an older gentleman in arizona, and it had been sitting in his garage for about 15 years, it sat in my garage for almost a year and I don't have the time or money to work on it.  It would be a great restoration project, with an early unit 500 twin motor, it's fairly easy to work on or find someone willing to work on it. All of the hard to find, hard to get stuff is all there.  As you can see it's only missing seat, exhaust, primary chain, cables, and headlight lens; all available aftermarket online or ebay.  I pulled the covers off of the motor and the motor looked very clean but obviously needs to be gone thru because of it's age.  I do have the title I am just waiting for it to come back from the DMV with my name as the updated owner (there was a delay because it was an out of state title and required an inspection by DMV & I procrastinated).  The motor and frame numbers match (H22286).  If you are local and want to see the bike, I am in san Diego and you can contact me to set up a time to come and look at it.  I have a triumph speedtwin parts reference guide w/ all part numbers in it and a triumph restoration book that I will include with the bike.  Thank You for looking.
