Needs motor. Was the 4.0 Inline 6. Bought this jeep in Colorado a couple of years ago with 200k miles. The body is rust free. Extremely clean well maintained and cared for Jeep. I replaced everything you could imagine, including, but not limited to the radiator, fuel pump, alternator, clutch plate, water pump, thermostat, fuel filter, and power steering pump and grille. Did the front and rear brakes as well as replaced the battery within the last 8 months. Tires have lots of life, and the 4 wheel drive works. The jeep has power windows, front seats, locks and sun roof. Dark limo tinted windows all the way around. The clutch shifted smooth. The interior is in very good shape. The leather seats are in great shape. No rips or tears. The head liner is fair. It has the rear tow package and the front tow hooks. Fog lights work as well. CD player. Exhaust is fine. Jeep only built the five-speed Grand Cherokee for it's first two years, and though I've yet to find any hard numbers on how many were built, it sure wasn't many. One number I've seen tossed around is 400. It was my daily driver with no signs of any problems. Driving on one super hot day in stop and go traffic on the highway, it just quit. I had it towed to our house. parked it in the garage with plans of replacing the engine. Need my garage spot back so I thought I would see if anyone else could put a motor in it and enjoy this very rare jeep. Email me with any questions before you bid.
