Vehicle Detail
Up for auction at NO RESERVE is a 2008 E450 with Supreme fiberglass body, salvage rebuildable title. Accident to front and needs frame pulled out. 6.8 V10 engine with only 22K miles. See the detailed pics. This used to be a tool truck for delivery of mechanics tools. I believe that honesty is the best policy so I will be as detailed as possible as to what it needs. The van will start and run with a new starter. It started and ran a couple times but then just clicked, found out that was due to the solenoid on the starter being cracked from the collision when the frame and engine were hit. The engine is pushed back several inches but has no damage that I can see other than the air filter housing cracked. It will need: starter, air filter housing, trans pan which is banged up underneath), rear driveshaft (also banged up), 2 tires 225/75 R16 which are flat, 5 lugnuts (missing), radiator and condenser and support, front grille and headlights, ft. sway bar and links, and ft. bumper. As far as parts that's all I can see. The I-beam suspension is good no damages up front. It had a generator which was removed, but it's prewired for it now. It also had some overhead lights in the box which were removed along with the roof a/c unit. I have the a/c unit but it's banged up. The tool guy who used to own it put down some stick on floor tiles but they are peeling up now. They come up easily. Personally I'd remove them all and maybe stain and seal the wood floor. It has a long workbench with drawers for storage. This truck has many possibilities, it could be turned into an rv, used as a storage truck, delivery, plumbing or a/c work, you name it. Has a fold down rear ramp and sliding front door entry from cab to box area. All glass is good, no cracks anywhere. Some minor dings to lower skirt areas of the box, and a small crack up front on the lower rt side fiberglass area of the cab. The worst of the frame tweak is on the rt side, the driver's side isn't that bad and is only tweaked to the right a few inches back. The left side I would probably section out and just reweld a new piece in, although I'm not a body guy so maybe it could be put on the frame machine and pulled out easier. Check the pics and ask any questions via email. This truck will go for NO RESERVE, highest bid wins, and at only 22K miles, this book value $26,000 truck will get someone a fantastic deal. This truck IS NOT running and you will need a tow truck to transport it. I can help refer you to a service if you are out of state. The truck was transported on a 20 ft flatbed and barely fit from front nose to rear tires, so it's about 22-24 ft long. I suggest a medium duty wrecker or slightly longer flatbed to transport it. Check my feedback and bid with confidence, I let folks know as much as I can upfront so there are no surprises. You MUST pay in full within 5 days of auction, cash or cashier's check ONLY, NO PAYPAL OR OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED. Your bid is a contract, if you have zero or negative feedbacks you MUST email me first or your bid will be cancelled. Good luck and happy bidding On Dec-23-10 at 07:53:38 PST, seller added the following information: I have been honest about this truck, and if you bid you need to follow through with payment and pickup. I use an auction integration company called Reliabid that works seamlessly with ebay, and will use your payment and personal info to place a collection on your credit report for a minimum of my relist fees if you don't pay. This is not a problem for honest buyers who have every intention of following through. But for those who waste my time and money, this is how I have to protect myself. Happy bidding and Merry Christmas!
