I purchased this car with 117,872 miles on it in Sept. 2005. I have driven it less then a 1000 miles a year. I have two other toys so this one has to go. The paint on the car is in very good condition as you can see from the pictures. The car is rust free except for one spot on the left fender that is about a 1/4" round, a small paint bubble. The complete exhaust system was replace by the previous owner when I purchased it. I had the transmission rebuilt a couple of years ago and about 1000 miles have been driven since the trans replacement. Tires are in good shape. The car has been sitting in my driveway for the last two years under a cover. Oil changed every year even though the car is sitting. I have replaced the spark plugs, ignition coil and fuel filter this past year. The following problem started last year and I have not had the time to have it checked out. The proplem is when the engine is cold it starts, but idles very rough. Once the engine is warmed up it idles a bit high around a thousand RPM. but seems to drive ok. Not sure what the problem is other then it probably should be checked out by a mechanic and possibly a tuneup required. The dash has a couple of cracks in it and some of the weather stripping should be replaced at some time in the future as most 82's do for there age.The hardtop has been on for the last two years. The soft top was in good shape prior to installing the hardtop.(See Pictures) The car is being sold as is with no warranty. You are more then welcome to look it over or have someone do that for you.
