Vehicle Detail

First of all, let me say that I am selling this for a friend. I've known this car for 18 years. He got this car as a birthday gift when he was 11 years old. When his brother was 16 he borrowed the car to go to a friends house, where he parked in a driveway. A lady driving by lost control of her vehicle and clipped the left rear, as you see in the picture. Instead of having it fixed they spent the money elsewhere. So here the car has sat for 14 years. About 5 years ago we decided we were going to start the process of restoring it and got the motor running and quickly found out that the brakes did not work very well. The motor does smoke a little, but does run. He lost interest and again it went on the back burner. The car is all there including numourus parts. Extra fenders, trim, etc. and two sets of wheels including the original 14" Hub caps. The wheels that are on it now do not go with it. The cars was painted red back in 1989. It was originally White w/ red interior. The rust on the car is very minor. I restore cars for a living and between the fenders and the quarter, I could repair it with minor sheetmetal work, no patch panels needed. As for the left quarter, It will need a full qtr, left portion of tail panel and trunk extension. The floors are solid front and rear, including the trunk. You can get a full quarter for 120.00, tailpanel for 70.00, trunk corner for 30.00, trunk extension for 30.00. I could repair it in my shop for around 1800.00. Thats about 2050.00 w/ parts, not including shipping freight on parts and supplies for shop. This car needs to be back on the road and could get there with a motivated Mustang enthusiast. Please let me know if forgot anything or if you have any questions and i will answer to the best of my abbility. Look at my work @ www.ManiacMusclecars.com Just looking at this listing makes me sad. I remember when this car was perfect and man was it beautiful. It really does deserve a good home.
