Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 2000 Subaru Outback with 192,000 miles. As you can see in the picture the car has quite a few dents and dings. The passenger side fender and the front bumper should be replaced. If you take care of those two things the car will be very solid. There is an exact match for the bumper at a local used parts store for 45 dollars. The fender should cost right about the same. The passenger side door only opens half way because the fender is bent in and restricting it. There are other marks, minor rust or spots shown in the pictures but for the most part these two areas are what need to be taken care of. The car has black leather inside with electric everything and cd. The inside is in great condition. I would rate it a 9 if not a 10. Mechanically this car is very solid. I have great maintenance records which I will list in order at the end of this ad. The car does have a minor exhaust leak which you can hear when you accelerate or start the car. It is not that bad but it should be fixed. With that being said, the car is still drivable and works fine. None of the damage to the front of it prohibit it from being driven and the exhaust leak is minor. The transmission and engine are great and it has a lot of potential. Now for the maintenance records... 6-28-10: Oil and filter $66.56 3-3-10: Headlight bulbs: $34.75 2-10-10: Oil and filter, Tire rotation: $45.00 9-29-09: Replaced upper hose and adjusted coolant: $99.05 4-22-09: Front breaks and rotors changed; Rear breaks and rotors changed; Inner tire rods and boots changed; Stearing boots changed; Front stabilizer links and bushings; rear stabilizer links and bushings; alighment: $1,430.68 4-15-09: Spark plugs, Ignition wires; Oil and filter; Lights replaced; Idler pully, tensioner, timing belt: $813.51 2-05-09: New tires, Oil change: $191.60 11-12-08: Oil change, front headlight bulbs: $70.53 8-27-2008: Replaced Cat Convertor: $1606.52, Full overall service: $171.64, Replaced left front door boot: $181.90 12-31-2007: Four new tires: $600.82, Wheel Bearing and hub: $505.58, Front Breaks and Rotors: 209.45 5-10-2007: Sway bar, bushing, links: $251.64, Full 100k mile service $465.35, Coil pack and wires $270.80 6-19-2006: Front and rear breaks and rotors, Full service, Timing belt, Waterpump, Drive belts, Spark Plugs and wires, Transmission flush and service, Gaskets and Covers, $2,829.19 These are just a few of the records that go all the way back to the car having 59,000 miles in 2004. This car has been very well taken care of from day 1 and it still has a lot of potential. The car has no reserve and will be taken by the highest bidder. I would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere in New England or possibly farther as is. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!
