!!!New engine!!! For sale is my 1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5L AWD GT with a 4 cylinder DOHC 5spd manual transmission. It is silver with clean grey and black interior (great condition for the year). It has working power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise, tilt, hot heat, cool AC, horn, and am/fm/cassette stereo, sunroof. The engine and transmission were recently replaced with a 6 month warranty (still active for a short time, have all paperwork regarding warranty and purchase on July 28, 2010) and has about 31k miles on the replacement, although the odometer says approximately 248k mi. It runs great. All 4 tires are brand new. There are a bunch of good spare parts in the trunk from the old engine. There is a crack in the passenger side of the windshield that does not obstruct the driver's view whatsoever and it will pass NC inspection without having to have it fixed. No major dents or rust. There are a couple of minor dents, but that is to be expected with the year. The dealer told me that it may need new wires do to a code given off by the computer (which would only cost a few dollars), but that it may need a sensor estimated at $100 at a salvage yard, and $300 new from the dealer. Great gas mileage, perfect for 1st time driver, ready for the winter!!! This is a born again car. It is practically a brand new car with an older body. I'm asking $3,500.
