If you are looking for an investment you can drive and enjoy, check this out. Here is a chance to buy an uncut, virtually rust-free, unmolested early Bronco that has the original faded red paint. The doors fit tight and open and close perfectly. There is no mystery of how solid this West Texas body is: The patina tells the story. The top has never been removed, and the original seals are still intact. It still has the original economical 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed transmission. The Bronco came w/ underdash AC. I have not tried to get it to cool but compressor and unit are still intact. This was probably a dealer-installed option. It also has the original radio but it doesn't come on. It also has a dealer-installed roof rack. I began restoration several years ago by having the seats redone with original style covers by a local upholstery shop, and they did a great job. The wheels were removed, repainted, and new mud grip tires were installed. Motor runs good and holds good oil pressure. Transmission and 4x4 drive train has been untouched and seems to work like it should, although clutch doesn't feel right. It has original exhaust, and the muffler needs to be replaced. This Bronco has not been registered for over five years, and I would not recommend driving it home, although these are mechanically very simple, trouble- free vehicles. This would be a great candidate for restoration or a foundation for that perfect classic Bronco resto mod.
