2001 Saturn L-200 4-Door/Sedan With Premium Tires, New Front and Rear Brakes, + so much more!!! This vehicle is a great car with a clean title, and all features function fabulously! This is a private-owner sale. POWER OPTIONS: Air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power driver seat. SAFETY OPTIONS: Driver airbag, front passenger airbag, remote-control entry, anti-theft security system with panic button included on remote control. EQUIPMENT OPTIONS: CD player, tilt wheel, AM/FM stereo, day-time running lamps, interior dome and reading lights. TRANSMISSION: Automatic. OTHER OPTIONS: Folding rear seats for more cargo room--also includes locking mechanisms so small children can't get into the trunk (some kids are sneaky that way)! It's also a good safety feature if you store anything in your trunk--makes it more difficult for someone to break into the trunk from the rear passenger seats. Both front seats also recline (pretty standard now a days), and the driver seat also has power adjustments (see picture of driver seat power buttons). MPG: Approximately 30 miles per gallon. MILEAGE: It has 73,900, so it may have close to 74,000 between now and then. $$$ VALUE: With all these features, the current mileage, and current good condition, the credit union told me the current value of this vehicle is $5900, but I'm starting it at only $2999 with no reserve price--WOW!!! Don't let this wonderful deal get away! OWNERSHIP HISTORY: My elderly aunt (now 80) bought this in October 2005. She just doesn't drive it anymore, so I'm helping her sell it (I have power of attorney for her finances). I myself started driving it in September 2010. I thought about keeping this car for myself because it gets about 30 MPG (great gas mileage), but I'm just too attached to my 2007 Ford Escape to give it up for the Saturn. MAINTENANCE: I went up to the same Firestone mechanics I've been using for the last 20 years because they have never steered me wrong. I had them do a thorough inspection, and I told them I was selling it and I want to make sure I'm not selling someone a hunk of junk (the Catholic guilt factor would kill me otherwise)! Sooooooo, about $1000 later, it now has brand new front brakes (including new rotors and pads) and brand new rear drum brakes (see how shiny they are in the pictures of the wheels)! The manufacturer recommendations indicated that it was ready for a transmission fluid flush, so I had them do that too, along with a fresh oil change as well. I also replaced the wiper blades too! I have documentation (receipts) for the repairs, and I will be happy to email pictures of them to you (personal information will be covered up for privacy/personal safety purposes). TIRE CONDITION: My mechanics said the tires are in great shape with lots of miles left and only very minimal uneven wear (I also had them rotate them while I was there). I have additional pictures of the tread for each tire that I can email you (just send me an ebay message with your request and your email address). WARRANTY: My Firestone mechanics said they will allow me to transfer the life-time rear brake warranty to whoever buys this vehicle (you would only be responsible for any wear on the drums). Everything else is considered "as is" with no warranty, but if you aren't happy with it immediately after the test drive, you can walk away with no obligation whatsoever, as well as receive a PayPal refund of your PayPal deposit. There is no refund once the vehicle leaves my possession. PICTURES: The pictures are of the actual car you are purchasing, and I took about a bazillion pictures (I can only list 24 here though). Needless to say, any car that is 9 years old is going to have at least a few scratches on the outside, some minor imperfections to the interior, and some paint touch-ups here and there--that's just reality; however, you can be rest assured, because of the thorough inspection by professional mechanics and having the recommended work done by them also, this car is ready for you to drive away in WITHOUT any worries!!! TEST DRIVE: For the purpose of personal safety (mostly mine), only the winning bidder will be allowed a thorough showing and test drive--no test drives will be permitted before that time (unless I know you personally). You must be a licensed driver to test drive this car (I will need to see your current/un-expired driver's license just prior to test driving). The winning bidder will be given the opportunity to visually inspect it (feel free to bring a mechanically-inclined buddy with you if you like) when you come to test drive it (accompanied by me and my mechanically-inclined buddy, of course). If you are not satisfied, you will not be obligated to complete the transaction, and your PayPal deposit will be refunded via PayPal. My neighborhood is a safe neighborhood. A mutually-agreeable public place will be arranged between the buyer and seller for your inspection and test drive. Of note, I know a lot of airline employees fly for free and travel the country buying cars off ebay listings. As the winning bidder, If you are flying into DTW, I will be happy to pick you up at the airport. If you are a private pilot flying a GA plane into the Mettetal Airport (Plymouth/Canton) or the Ann Arbor Airport, I can pick you up there too. Non-airline people, of course, are also welcome to bid, although you will be responsible for own transportation to the car. All transportation costs (if any) are the responsiblity of the buyer and will not be reimbursed by the seller for any reason.
