Hi you are looking at a very intresting barn find. This 1961 Alfa Romeo Julietta especial was owned buy a Chicago north shore alfa dealer that raced the car back in the early 60"s. The car comes with a 6 bolt quick change rear end, lockheed double front leading drum brakes, 2 engines 2 transmissions one a split case. and new konis as in installed but never seen street use. They could be about 20 years old. There are misc chrome engine parts a double manifold and loose parts around for the car. This car was in a garage in Lake Forest illinois for 20 years then moved to wisconsin and it has been sitting in a pole barn in Lake Geneva wisconsin al of the last 8 years. The car is definetly a resto project the rockers are shot but the rest of the under body is very solid with good re-usable metal so you will not be putting a floor in this car unless you feel a strong need to have fresh metal. The doors are in very nice condition as is the hood and trunk. The rest of the body has dings and scratches and some rust as to be expected from a car that has been sitting for 28 years! Just figure the car needs every thing so you won,t be dissapointed. and there are some parts missing. also this is a steel wheel car. The last photo is of a original Lotus X11 # 2 made. Yea no kidding! Its parked at the same location as the alfa. Good luck bidding I hope some one brings this old race car back!
