Vehicle Detail
If I were in the market for a 928 this is the one that I would buy. It gets driven regularly and currently nothing is broken. This may sound harsh, but 928's break. Its ok.... The parts are readily available and less expensive than you might think. That being stated here is the list of things that you won't have to replace because they have been done in the past 10,000 miles: Timing belt, timing gears, water pump, oil pump, belt tensioner, entire brake system (pads, rotors, master cylinder, boost, calipers), front shocks, tires. All of these parts are either oem Porsche or rebuild Porsche. EXTERIOR Paint is Minerva Blue and is in nice shape. no oxidation on car, slight oxidation on the front bumper. Minerva Blue is a not a common color on this model. No rust. The front air dam is broken. I did not replace it because I have a dip in my driveway and it eats air dams. Minor damage to drivers side rear fender well (see photo). This is the only outstanding damage on the body of this car, keep in mind that it is a 28 year old car. INTERIOR Interior is complete. Everything works. The front seats could use some work the leather is cracked in some spots and the stitching is loose. All of the power controls work. The rears are in great shape(go figure). The carpet is in good shape with no stains or holes. A Word from my wife: This is an amazing car. I love driving it! I get so many second looks and smiles when I drive. I love the sound of the engine and how it can set car alarms off and rattle windows. There is truely no other feeling than when you punch it getting onto the hiway and leave everyone in the dust. I have mixed feelings about selling this car but have decided to leave it up to the fates and ebay whether I get to keep it or if she is ready to go to a new owner. Thanks! If you have more questions e-mail me at stepheham@q.com Leave me a return phone # If you are interested in a detailed conversation about the car.
