1965 Suburban Cruiser Project Vehicle This rig is a great starting point for a sweet slammed ‘burb. 1965 Suburban w/ swing rear doors. This truck is distinguished by its completeness and the condition of the steel in the body. The only cancer is in the bottom of the rear doors, which probably came from some other rig. Small rust out in pass floor, but sills are good. Hood, front doors, etc, all good. Small body work needed at left rear taillight, forward of right wheel well and right rear door. Bumpers, trim parts there and good. Sits correctly and not radically on relocated A arms, and short springs.Relocated rear shocks. New 50 series tires on Blazer rims. 283 and T-350. Headers, new Edelbrock carb. Starts easily and drives – mechanically ok, does not want to idle. Electrical is questionable. Interior parts are all there. Original rear seat. Front seats are not original and not set up right. Rear floor is decent. Glass good. Needs molding rubber. Good title(s) – body and chassis on separate titles. Registered and licensed. Stored under cover. You can start and drive this rig, but I wouldn't consider it a "daily driver". Actual mileage unknown. I love this rig, but I am building a house and no time for this project.
