It is All Power Including Sunroof, Windows, Door Locks and Keyless Entry, Easy to Drive Automatic Transmission, and Michelin Tires make for a Great Car. The 9-5 really is a fine piece, and anyone who likes driving will appreciate the balance, power, steering and braking of this car. This car was a local trade. This car was so beautiful and nice to drive, that I just had to have it! With under119k miles and in overall excellent condition, this Saab is a perfect car! Buy with confidence and enjoy! Saab is no gimmick auto manufacturer. With the parent company being an aircraft manufacturer, you will find these cars to be well thought out, streamlined, aerodynamic, and many automotive features pioneered by Saab. This is the Saab 9.5 SE is among the highest performing, most well equipped models available. This SE comes with a robust suspension to handle the power produced by an engine turbocharged. With the added boost it makes 200 hp and 229 foot-pounds, hot stuff indeed. It has a traction control system that helps on dry pavement, and even more on the wet. The 9-5 also has a stability control system. There is also a Winter and Sport Mode available with buttons on the gear shifter and console. At first glance, this Car is a Looker. I personally LOVE driving this car!! This car is in overall much better condition than I would expect from the year and miles. This car looks and drives fantastic! Saabs are beautiful, well-designed cars that will appeal to driving enthusiasts and the fashion-conscious, as well as engineering nerds! For Sale by: CARNET 12638 Broad St Rd Richmond, VA 23233 We sit just under the over pass at RTE 288 and Broad St. Our office is located on the back of the building, on what is obviously a car lot. We schedule all car showings by appointment, please call 804-928-9099 or 804-938-8767 to schedule. Please read the following to learn all about this 2000 Saab 9.5 Luxury Sedan. EXTERIOR: The Exterior of this Saab is just Awesome! It is a Bright Silver Color. The Paint is in overall Excellent Condition. I do not see any indications of paint or body work. The Bright Silver Body Exterior combines with Tan Leather Interior which is a really nice color combination. This car looks sharp and turns heads. Overall, the outside of this car is just great, and is in much better condition than I would expect for a 2000 model! The outside body of this Saab is in Great Condition. The silver paint is shiny and glossy! The overall consistency of color really adds to the appeal of this car. In all my years in the auto industry, Silver is definately my choice of colors for a Saab. It is bright and shiny, classy and sophicated with a touch of sport appeal. This color does not fade or dull like many other colors and certainly minimizes any minor flaws. I also think this color is more timeless and helps to make the car look more current and less dated. This Saab is riding on a set of beautiful 16” alloy wheels with like new Michelin 215 55 R 16 tires. The tires are in great condition and just passed VA State Safety Inspection. I would estimate these tires having 90% life left. The wheels themselves are in near perfect condition, too. There is minimal or no damage on the wheels. I would not even say there is any curb damage, aka curb chew, at all. The Headlights are clear and you also get a built in license plate holder. I notice that the passenger side Headlight Wipers looks a little different. I cannot tell if it is broken. The driver side fog light lense cover is broken. With 10/2011 inspection, this car is ready to go! The rear of this Saab looks cool, too! The depth of the rear trunk and the bumper adds to the appeal of this sedan. You will find there is the Saab emblem in the middle, with a little fading. The front emblem is faded, too. There is a stationary antennae on the roof. There is a built in license plate holder here. Overall, the Exterior Condition of this 95 is in Excellent Condition. I do not see any indications of body work. For a vehicle of this age and mileage it looks really good. The only thing I can mention on this car is just usual light wear. There is a little light damage on the front driver side lower part of the spoiler. You can see it in some of the pictures, but at a normal standing angle you barely notice it. You may find some typical road rash chips on the hood or a door ding or two. I did not find anything else noteworthy or obvious or atypical for the year and miles. This car just looks great! INTERIOR: Inside this Saab you will find to be in Excellent - Great Condition, too. Overall, the interior looks, smells and feels just great. You will find the inside to be in Very Good Condition, much better than average condition. Remember this car is a 2000, so with realistic expectations you will be very pleasantly surprised. The interior is handsome and businesslike, with an aircraft-style cockpit that reveals Saab's aeronautic roots. . The Interior is Tan Leather and the dash is coordinating Tan and Black with wood grain trim! All interior trim pieces, dash, and the like are a combination of tan and black and woodgrain. The seat upholstery is soft tan leather. The wood grain is a nice dark color, I would describe as mahogany. The wood grain is all in excellent condition with no cracking and no fading. This Sedan features All Power Front Seats with Air Conditioning and Heated Front and Rear Seats. So the Front seats have are fully Power, Heated and Air Conditioning. On the front dash are 4 dials. There is one dial for the front driver heat, front driver AC, front passenger heat, and front passenger AC. The heat and ac on the front seats are multi point adjustable. In terms of creature comfort, what could be better on a hot, sticky day than a seat that incorporates an electric fan to blow cool air through ventilating holes in the seats? The rear seat is heated with a dial on the back of the front console. We have tested and all these work perfectly. You may notice in the photo above that there is a small cubby just in front of the gear shifter. This cubby has a piece of removable, non skid plastic in it. This being removable makes it easier to clean. I find this spot is perfect for my cell phone. It does not slide around and is always in easy reach but never in my way. The front seats are individual sport bucket style seats. These seats are very comfortable with high backs, solid moldings, and large supportive seat bottoms. The 9-5's taller design pays off in chair-like, upright seating that allows for a comfortable posture and ample headroom and legroom. Both front seats are multi point power adjustable with recline. The driver’s seat has 3 way memory settings. So, you can set your seating preferences once and always ride in the same comfort. Both front seats also power height adjustable. There is a knob missing off the driver recline button, but it fuctions perfectly and easily with the part that is still attached. The front driver seat belts are automatic height adjustable. There is a ergonomical slot that the shoulder harness will slid up or down in to adjust to rider height and comfort. All four passenger Head Rests are Height Adjustable. The rear set is surprisingly roomy. You can seat 3 more adults back here. There is a lot more leg and head room that I expected back there! I rode in the back seat personally for over an hour and was surprisingly comfortable. The rear seat is heated, too. There is a dial on the back of the center console that adjusts the rear seat heat. There are dual headrests for the rear seat, too. These head rests are fully removable if you choose. For added safety and comfort, there is a center passenger three point seat belt. This shoulder and lap combination adds comfort and safety. Each rear door has an integrated storage pocket. There are also storage pockets on the back of each front seat. You will notice in the picture below that there is more storage, a small netted cubby between the front and rear door. On the back of the front console is the control for the rear heated seat. There is also a power source ideal for cell phones. Overhead you will find 4 passenger entry handles. Each one of these handles also has a small hook, ideal for clothing. All four doors also have two tone, coordinating tan, panels. In the picture below you can see the two colors. This looks awesome and is a very nice subtle touch of class. This is intentional, factory specifications and is not light reflections from the camera. As you can see in these pictures, all the seats are in excellent condition. There are not stains, no holes, and no burn makes to mention. The driver seat has very minimal wear from use, but nothing ripped and nothing to be considered damaged. It is very light and far less wear than I would expect for a 2000 model car. I do not believe that car seats have ever been in this cars since the rear seats do not have indentations. I also do not find any small hairs so I do not believe that pets have ever been in this car either. There is a fully power Sunroof with retractable sunshade. There is a single, overhead button that will vent the sunroof, or open it completely. The retractable sunshade allows you to let the sun shine in through the glass panel roof without any wind. I did notice that the fabric on the sun shade is coming loose in a small area. It probably just need a dab of glue. This is barely noticable and I drove the car many times before I ever noticed. In the front, overhead, you will find more options. The front visors both have lighted vanity mirrors and a secondary sun shade. This is great if you need to block a range of sunlight. Just flip the first shade to the side and then the second one will flip down. This rear bench will fold down for more cargo space. It is a 60/40 split bench that will flip down in two pieces. The rear seat lower cushions actually flip forward and then the seatbacks fold down flat. This flush fold down feature is super convenient and makes cargo storage increased and easier to use. Folding the rear seat (cushion and backrest) creates a vast cargo area that rivals that of some station wagons. As you can see, even the carpets under the rear seat is clean and free from damage or stains. The back seat features a center arm rest that will flip down for added rider comfort. There are 2 cup holders that flip out from this rear arm rest. There is also a rear seat ski pass through. This allows you to put snow skis in the trunk and they will pass through into the back seat instead of having to strap them to the roof. The carpets and front floor mats are also tan. These are factory Saab floor mats so they match perfectly. The floor mats have usual wear. But they look so good that I left them in the car. You will not find any rips, tears, holes or burns inside this Saab. The inside smells good. I do not smoke, and am allergic to smoke, and do not smell any linger smoke smell in this car. I believe this Saab to be a non smoker. There is not pet odor either and no small hairs to indicate that animals have ever ridden in this car. Inside this Saab, you will find lots of surprises and upgrades. In addition to the heated front and rear seats, you will find Power Windows, with Driver 1 Touch Auto Power Up and Down, Keyless Entry, Cruise Control, Climate Control. I do notice the key fob has tape on it, but it functions perfectly. You will find all the writing on the instrument knobs to be bright and clear. All of the digital displays are in excellent condition, too, there is no pixilation on the displays. This is important to mention since it is a common issue in many Saabs and the excellent condition of these digital displays is special, unique, and noteworthy. The sound system in this Saab features the factory Harmon Kardon Upgrade so it sounds great! You will find this factory system to have an in dash CD, Cassette, and AM FM Radio. The radio sounds great, the speakers are crisp and clear. There is a factory amplifier. The Digital Display for the radio looks perfect. There are also wheel controls for the radio. No need to divert your attention away from the road while adjusting the music. This is another feature I don’t know how much I enjoy and use until I have to drive a car without. This system has weather band. I will be honest, I have never used the weather band before, but my step dad’s swears by it. Also, in this radio display area, this Saab features a Driver’s Information Center. You can monitor all sorts of data right from this display. It will calculate and display all sorts of information including, but not limited to, External Temperature (TEMP), Miles to Empty(DTE), Average Miles Per Gallon, Average Speed, etc. You can also input a destination and the car will track how far/long until arrival in both miles and time. It is very cool and useful! This Saab has Dual Zone Climate Control. On the front dash, there are controls where you can set the automatic climate control, or over ride that and manually adjust the heating or cooling. You can set separate temperature settings for the driver and passenger. There are up and down arrows on each side for the cooresponding rider. There is AC that blows cold and the heat is cozy. This Saab Features an Automatic Transmission. This transmission shifts perfectly and performs just as it should. There are three modes selections available on this Saab 95. There is a button on the dash for TCS - Traction Control System. There is a buttom on the gear shifter marked S for Sport Mode. There is a button on the console, just to the right of the gear shifter marked W for Winter Mode. There are also power door locks and remote keyless entry with key fob. With this remote entry fob you can lock and unlock the doors. There is a trunk release button on the fob and driver door. These remote release are not working, I suspect there is a valet lock out security feature that I cannot figure out that would allow these to function again, but I am not certain. There is Cruise Control, we tested and it works perfectly. There is a stalk on the steering wheel, left side, that controls the speed control. This Saab also has intermittent windshield wipers with controls on the steering column. There is rear defrost, with a button on the dash in the climate control area. The trunk on this Saab that is surprisingly spacious. This trunk will hold much more cargo than I would have ever suspected. At the grocery store the other day, the bagger helping me load my items even commented. As soon as I opened the trunk he exclaimed, Wow, that is on big trunk. And that's what he does for a living so he knows what he is talking about. In the trunk you will find a recess mounted spare tire. There is a cargo net back here for securing items, too. The exterior side view mirrors are also power adjustable from the driver's door. From the driver’s door, you can adjust the power mirrors. The gas door and trunk remote release buttons are here on the bottom next to the cubby for storage. You also get chrome door handles which look really sharp against the Tan and Black Interior. The center console has controls for all of the power windows and the door locks. Saab-ophiles will be glad to note that this 9-5 has the signature feature of the ignition key in the center console, a piece of ergonomic design that mystifies most people. The idea, as I understand it, is to put your right hand down where all the starting procedure happens - ignition, parking brake and gearshift. The ignition is also located here on the center console. This is an interesting location for the ignition that adds a little extra flare to the appeal and fun of this sedan. This center ignition location is more ergonomically friendly and consumer appealing than one on the steering column. Steering column locations have become dominant because it is easier and cheaper for the manufacturers. But leave it so Saab to focus on driver and consumer comfort over cutting costs. The center console also has a padded armrest which opens up for even more storage. The padding on the armrest is super comfortable, so much so, I took notice right away. The top of the armrest will slide forward for custom comfort. I notice this because I am so short, being able to slide the armrest top forward lets me use it while driving. In the picture above, you will see this center armrest also has a removable cup holder. You can hook this cup holder securley or just take it out for more storage space. The second front cup holder is integrated into the front dash. Just to the right of the radio controls is a flip out cup holder that is surprisingly sturdy. The glove box is lighted and lockable for added safety and security. The owner's manual is inside. The Overall Interior of this Car is Near Perfect. This car really Looks, Smells, and Feels Great! You may notice a little wear on the leather surfaces, but it is not rips or tears, it is just usual, very light wear. There are no rips, no holes, and no significant imperfections on the inside of this car. There only thing I can find to mention, as stated above is a little wear on the driver's seat, a small area of the sun shade that is a little loose, and a missing but still fully funcitonal driver seat knob. Overall the Interior of this Saab 9.5 Aero Turbo Sedan is well equipped and in better condition than I would expect. I usually see more wear and tear on a 2003 model car. This is a great car for anyone. You may find a little usual wear, but if your expectations are realistic you will be pleasantly surprised. Driving Impressions: This Saab 9.5 Turbo drives just perfectly! I have driven this car since the day it traded in, and in the office we bicker over who is going to drive it. We have driving this car extensively and it performs just great! We took it in for VA State Safety Inspection it is ready to ride and enjoy! This car offers incredible gas mileage of 18-26 Miles Per Gallon so it is sporty and practical! People always ask how I feel about a car, do I think a car would be good for a family member, such as college age daughter, or do I think I car will make some drive home. Regarding this Saab, I personally have every confidence that it is a great car for anyone. I would hop in this car and take a long road trip. While I am not a mechanic and I cannot predict the future, if I was in the market for a car for myself, a friend, or family member I would absolutely recommend this Saab. As a matter of a fact, I did recommend this car to my friend, but with several kids, he needs a larger passenger vehicle. This car does not drive like a normal sedan. The turbo adds a boost of driving appeal and performance that is amazing. I actually find myself surprised at how quick and responsive this car is. Around town, on the highway, and everywhere in between, this Saab delivers superior drivability. Sheer excellence is evident in the first moments behind the 9-5’s wheel. The 9-5 is larger than the 9-3 series. The 9-5 sedans deliver an appealing and sophisticated highway experience that stresses comfort. Nearly everything about these cars qualifies as super smooth. The SE produces a largely absorbent ride. It handles with precise control and runs with alluring quietness. The 9-5 takes acceleration to an even loftier level. The Automatic-transmission operation is flawless. Under The Hood: This Saab comes with the Turbo 6 Cylinder Engine. This car is surprisingly peepy and fun to drive. When you hit the gas pedal, this car responds! The 181 cubic inch engine produces 220 horse power at 5,000 rpm and 229 foot pounds of torque at 2,500 rpm. This is a DOHC, Dual Overhead Cam, Engine. The 18.5 gallon gas tank combines with mpg of 18-26 allowing you to drive and drive between fill ups. This car is the perfect combination of fun and function! Safety: The 9-5 has an impressive list of active and passive safety features. Anti-lock brakes, traction control, side-impact airbags that protect the heads and torsos of front-seat occupants and Saab's active head-restraint system are among the standard features. In a collision, the head restraints move up and forward to reduce the chances of whiplash. With love overhead and high volume, our cars are priced less than most private sellers and normally only a few hundred dollars over our cost. We can provide quality cars at a low cost. Look at Wal-Mart, high volume companies save you money. 2. In VA, all of our running vehicles have to be State Safety Inspected. Virginia has one of the most strict inspection processes. An independent shop inspects such components as Lights, Suspension, Brakes, Tires, Windshield, and More! We usually plan on spending at least $600 per car to get them to pass state inspection. So, you have piece of mind that this inspection has been done recently. 3. As a dealer, you never have to wait to legally drive and register your car. Even if there is a bank payoff or title, we can facilitate an easy exchange and provide any necessary temporary tags and accompanying paperwork so you can drive away at the time of pick up. (Please note, not all cars qualify for temporary tags if we have the original title at time of transfer. 4. Safety! As a business, you have the added security and confidence that your safety is maintained at the time of pick up. No driving up to a stranger's house, our transactions take place at a licensed dealership. 5. Information available about each car we sell! We are professionals with years of experience. We are not dumping any unwanted junk out of our back yard on eBay. We spend hours taking detailed photos, including specific information about each car, and adding our own impressions of how a car performs. We do not have emotional attachments to these cars and try to be as honest as possible about the overall condition. 6. On, eBay you have the confidence that you are shopping with a state licensed, bonded and insured company. We cannot scam and run eBay frauds the way private sellers could. Plus, look at our years eBay history. We want to talk about a couple of items. We are Wholesale Dealers. We buy our cars Directly from New Car Dealers and Not Auctions. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that we sell quality cars. When they are traded in, someone at the new car dealer drives the car. When we buy the car, someone from our dealership drives the car. If a car has a problem we either fix it or disclose it. We have no intention or knowledge of ever selling a car with a problem. However, all cars break. I wish I could, but I cannot predict when a car will break. We do our best to represent the vehicle fairly, however, we are human and do make mistakes. Any minor imperfections consistent with age are not reasons for refusal of delivery/pick up or negotiation. We sell cars As Is, and cannot warranty any vehicles we sell so please take careful consideration when bidding on or buying now these cars. Whenever we sell a car on eBay, we always seem to be asked how we think the car would function on a long drive home from pick up. While I cannot offer any warranty or guarantee, we believe this Saab would make any drive home. I would hop in this mini van and drive anywhere without worry. We are wholesale dealers, please do not ask us to arrange, or compensate for delivery, shipping, transportation, or other related expenses.
