Up for auction is my 73 super beetle. I bought this car from a friend of mine with the intention of restoring it, but just dont have the time or money. It sat in a barn for about 5 years prior to me owning it. It is in overall good condition for its age, but it will need some work. It does run and drive, but could use a tuneup. It also needs tires. The tires on the car are dry rotted, and the front two leak down after about a week or so. The floor pans are good except directly under the battery. I did my best to take a picture of the bad place. The only other rust is on the passenger side quarter panel. There is a little cluster of places, each is about the size of a dime. Other than that the body is very solid. It is not beat up or dented. The clear coat is pealing off the top and hood, so it will need painted. The interior is in very good shape. The seats look brand new with no rips or tears. The head liner has a place or two on it in the back. It has a new cd player in it and a new interstate battery. The odometer is showing just under 65000 miles but I am not sure if it is correct.
