Vehicle Detail
Almost perfect body. A few very minor dents and dings, paint chip, scratches. As you can see from the pictures this is a very nice looking truck. It also has a clean under carriage and overall appearance. This truck has been well taken care of. Tires have about half tread. This truck has power windows and door locks, rear sliding window, tauneau cover, tool box, bug shield, cd player, tinted rear windows, manual locking hubs. Everything works on this truck except the air conditioner. When the engine was swapped they did not hook the a/c back up. I have all of the parts for the a/c that go with the truck. It basically just needs re-charged and the condenser hooked back up. The compressor for the a/c is still on the engine and is run by the serpentine belt. The engine that is in the truck had only 60,000 when it was installed a few months ago by the previous owner. The title states not actual mileage because of the motor swap. The title says 250,000 but that is not correct and apparent from looking at the vehicle. The last owner screwed up the title work. This Ranger is in immaculate condition for it's age and the paint is just as shiny as ever. The rear-end was just replaced. The spider gears had some wear so I replaced the rear differential. The power steering looks like a hose has leaked because it has grease build up but it does not appear to use any steering fluid. The four wheel drive works great. It has new shocks. The engine is a 3.0 liter v6 with a 5 speed manual transmission. The hubs for the four wheel drive are manual which is a good thing for those of you that know the issues these trucks had with the electronic 4 wheel drive. The transfer case for the four wheel drive is has the stick shift not the touch button. The driver side window works fine but makes a cranking noise if you hold the button down once it is all the way rolled up. Basically you just let off the button once the window is all the way up. A little history of this truck for me. I purchased this truck for my soon to be brother-in-law that needs a four wheel drive. After I found and purchased the truck he did not have the money to pay me back so I am trying to cut my losses and re-sell. Gotta love family! I have the truck for sale on a busy highway so I reserve the right cancel the auction if somebody shows up with cash so bid or buy if you want it. Please ask questions before bidding. I will not ship or deliver the vehicle but will most gladly assist you with any pick-up or delivery arrangements YOU make for the vehicle. Thanks!
