Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1965 International Scout 80 with a 345 V8 stuffed in it. The motor is blown but it comes with another 345 out of an international pickup that ran. The extra engine is propane injected. I was just going to swap the whole carburated engine intake to convert it back to gasoline, but to each their own. Obviously you will have a lot of spare parts like two alternators, starters, distributors, water pumps and such between both of the engines. I was turning it into a really capable off road rig so It also comes with 3/4 ton axles from an 84 chevy scottsdale. The 14 bolt rear end is a semi floating 8 lug and already in with the spring perches tac welded as well as the spring hanger. The shackle hangers are solidly welded with brand new greasable shackles. The front end is a dana 44 and has not been swapped out yet but it obviously goes with it. The original dana 27 axles go with it and you can sell them or convert them back. It comes with 36 inch military humvee beadlocking wheels and tires with the runflats in them. It has no top, but does have doors and an extra fold down windshield-it doesn't need it but comes with one. This is a great off road winter project and it's just awesome to have a V8 in a scout 80 with the fold down windshield. It does not have the saddle tanks they were taken out and the guy I bought it from five years ago just had a little plastic boat fuel tank in the bed and thats what i drove it around with until the motor went. I was going to put a custom tank in the bed anyway just a whole lot bigger nicer and metal. The body is straight with a amazingly not alot of rust. The passenger side rocker has the only rust through. No rust in front of the rear wheels on the quarter panels. Very solid. The bottom line is I work 6 days a week and no longer have the time or space for the scout. It has been stored inside my little shop ever since I have owned it and I need the space. All the parts with the scout is easily worth about $1600. I have no reserve and if the bids met at least $800 I will throw in the brand new cherry picker attached to the good engine. I will not part this out because I do not have the time. The starting bid is $500 and if you part it out you can make money on it. My loss is your gain! Feel free to ask any questions that you have. I have more pictures if you are interested. Obviously it will need to be trailered. Buyer is responsible for picking up the scout. $250 due by auctions end and the rest payable through paypal or in cash upon pick up.
