Up for auction is a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe. This car is the real thing, NOT a clone. True numbers matching vehicle (Vin# corresponds to ID on Engine block and Transmission). All other parts carry the correct Part # for year, make, model and are original to the car. This 442 has undergone a complete, professional “frame off” restoration in 2004 and was sprayed it’s original Sebring Yellow color with black stripes. The body is absolutely straight and stunning. This 442 boasts many of the popular “W” options including the Outside Air Induction system and hood (this is the original hood not a repro). See complete list of options below. This car looks, runs and drives excellent. You can let go of the wheel and the car tracks straight down the road. I purchased this car in 2006 and the car has been driven an easy 1200 mi since the 2004 restore. This car is always garaged when not at a show. Some Notes: The Hurst Dual Gate shifter and console is not original to the car. It was purchased and installed during the restoration in lieu of the single gate floor shifter. The car has an Alpine stereo in it. The Factory AM/FM Radio is missing. I have taken the interior pics with the floor mats out to show the carpet (which is perfect). Not that it's a big deal, but just know that the original Olds floor mats come with this car. And they are in great shape. Notes on Title: This vehicle has been registered in Connecticut, CT DMV does not issue titles for vehicles previous to 1981. We have a Supplemental Transfer of Ownership form and the current CT Registration as proof of ownership. Several states have adopted this policy but certainly not all them.
