You are bidding on a very nice 1981 Delorean DMC-12. I hate to sell it but I am forced to because of work slow down. The DMC-12 is one of a kind with monocoque fiberglass construction to which the iconic stainless steel panels were affixed. Under the bonnet is the numbers matching PRV fuel injected 2849cc V6 mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Sports car handling is provided from the rack and pinion steering, independent double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, and 4 wheel disc brakes. Inside is AC, power windows, power locks, power brakes, AM/FM radio, power mirrors and leather interior. There are an estimated 6,500 DMC-12s still known to be in existence this is your chance own this car today.With only 55051 original miles on this car it is in great condition. This car has all the history and receipt of all paper work that comes with it. This car was from Indiana, and shipped to CA. I didn't get the chance to spend any time with this car, but previous owner use it a daily commuter car, so you know it's not a car that's been sitting around for 26 years. Condition: Steel and Body in Great shape. Engine, clutch and transmission are all in good shape. See video from youtube. This car has new A/C, and windows works smoothly. Dash is in good condition, seats are little wore but intack. Carpet is in good shape. Updated JVC audio system. The car has been upgrade with Stage I, that should add another 20 horse power.
