This is a great car that was bought as a father and son(s) project. I bought this car for my twin boys to work on with me, and it has given us many years of enjoyment. It runs great, and drives great. It has very solid floors and no frame rail or trunk rot. There are some rust bubbles at the wheel wells on both sides, but it is very presentable as is. Many new parts have been installed and has 15" wheels installed but we have the original mags. This is a factory disc brake car with the original "S" code 390 in it. It has not been apart and runs very strongly. The original C-6 transmission shifts as it should. There is no noise from the original 9" Ford rear end. The sequential lights work as they should, and the headlights work with no leaks. The spoiler was added as was the hood scoop that is non-functional, before we got it. The paint job is fine as a driver, but the quality is not up to my standards. The car was going to be a total restoration, but I made the mistake of introducing the boys to motorcycles and that took care of interest in the car. It's now time to turn it over to someone else and let them do what should be done to this very rare and solid Cougar. I have many parts as spares that can go with the car for extra monies if there is interest. I won't sell the parts until the car sells, giving the new owner the first opportunity to purchase them should they want. I will answer any questions to the best of my ability. The car is for sale outside of ebay, so the auction may get ended at any time. The price is fair for how rare the car is- it has always been stored in my heated and cooled warehouse. I can help with shipping- but don't ship. I can keep the car stored if need be for a reasonable time.
