Up for auction is this very nice 1998 dodge 1500 fleetside 4 X 4, a real survivor. It runs and drives super! A no frills basic truck that has been well taken care and maintained. The interior is an 8 out of 10 and it does have a ripped tear on the driver seat. No cracked dash and all the glass is an excellent condition. Everything works and moves as it should except for the driver’s door lock sometimes it gets stuck and will not lock correctly. The truck was wrecked in 2005. It got the passenger fender and a little bit of the door but has been repaired and looks fine. It has a very nice sounding exhaust a little loud but sounds great. The motor runs smooth with no hesitation at idle or fluctuation of idle. Overall it is a super truck and is in super condition (rare actually). Now for the issues, first the title says it has an issue. The issue is in the state of Indiana if you accidentally mark or check the box that says exempt on the title or exceeds mechanical limits it automatically flags a title for not actual. But the miles are actual on the truck if you look at the history of the title from the day it was new, you can see there is no discrepancies. In Indiana after a vehicle is considered 10 years old all are vehicles exempt/not actual. The miles are actual I will guarantee that and the other issue on the title report was obviously the accident of 2005, no major damage I have pictures of it if you'd like to see,There is 3 small door dings on driver door.And very small dent on pass door.pics dont show them I tried. Just email me and I'll send it to you. I have decided to sell this truck because it has developed a major brake line leak toward the back of a truck. It will not hold much brake fluid overnight anymore or for that matter when you're driving it. Took it to a local mechanic they said it should be under a couple 100 dollars but I'm not messing with it. The tires have about 25 percent tread left on them, so it will need tires soon. So I've set my reserve price at a very reasonable price. Taking into consideration probably about 400 dollars for tires in a couple 100 dollars worth of for brake line work. I've adjusted it to be very reasonably priced, but I'm not going to give this truck away. I know what it is still worth and if it does not meet my reserve then I will take it and put some tires on it and fix the brake line and probably will keep it or ask a lot more for it. If you had been looking for a truck like this, it’s worth taking a second look at, not too many left in this condition.
