For sale a 1974 AMC Javelin AMX with the Go Package. (Go Package incl. gauge cluster, dual exhaust, posi traction). I’m the 3rd owner of this car with an original 57k miles. This car is approx. 95% original all numbers matching car. This car is about 90-95% restored. Just some of the stuff recently replace on the car: New water pump, starter, alternator, hoses, belts, chrome valve covers, plugs, wires & cap, rotors, brakes, calibers just to name a few. I have a bunch of other parts to go along with the car. The only thing left to make this car 100% is some body work, paint and mufflers. There is rust on the rear quarter panels and small dent on the front right fender. I have all the parts ordered for the exhaust system. Those are not here or installed at this time. This car has the 360 V-8 4 barrel engine. This car does run and is drivable. All fluids are new. New oil and filter, radiator has been flushed and filled. This car was in this past August’s issue of Popular Hot Rodding as a project car under construction (you get a copy of that issue) August 2010. PHR is willing to run the car again when it is completed. This car has won 1 trophy in it’s first show this October. This car is a rare find and a really strong car. This car is not even complete and is a head turner/ show stopper. This car will only increase in value wants it’s completed. I do not want to part with this car, but I own a second home at the shore and need the funds to do work to that home. I am asking only $9,000 for this trophy winning, magazine car.
